  • Justin Beiber Blooo Haaaaaaa!

  • Why is it that for every music video there is someone that has to make a Justin Bieber comment? It is getting old and it is so unoriginal!

  • This has 150,000 views. "Knights of Cydonia" has 7,000,000. Thus is the sad state of our existence.

  • @Limbach17 I don't know why you have to pick that as an example. Muse are a very good band, and the whole argument who is better between radiohead and muse is very old, boring, and childish. There are many bands today that are much worse than muse.

  • 11 people dont have ears.

  • @Amnsiac999

    or souls.

  • This rocks too much! I love oasis, franz ferdinand, nirvana, etc...

But this is just too much, their songs mean so much and the ones who write and compose this songs must be genious, cuz i dont see it anyone else doing this the way Radiohead does it! Just love it!

  • Did they demand everyone glue their feet to the fucking floor before they were allowed in or something? Jools Holland, where no one shall dance.

  • fucking listen to johnnys guitar at 2:00

    turuuu tu ruutuut

  • Another perfect song by Radiohead...

  • I love the first 1/3 of this song the best.

  • This is......the best song of the last 100 years !!! "OUR" Mozart !! It's breathtakingingly beautifull !!!!

  • When I am king you will be first against the wall, with your opinion which is of no

consequence at all. Fucking amazing :D, Radiohead is the best alternative rock band ever :D.

  • So much insane talent

  • " That´s it Sir.,

    You´re leaving;

    The crackle of Pigskin,

    The dust and the screaming,

    The yuppies net-working.

    The panic, the vomit,

    The panic, the vomit,

    God loves his children."

I believe this is one of the best lyrics ever written. It´s so dark, mesmeric, gut-wrenching.

  • this is sick, really good!

  • they could of stretched this song into 15 mins easily lol the arrangements just blow my mind it's so beautiful

  • theres one more thing to be said here - i dont get why you people talk about radiohead on one hand and about led zeppelin or pink floyd on the other hand. my favourite band is radiohead, but i have CDs of LZ or PF as well as i have CDs of beatles and rolling stones and portishead and bjork.. and i love them all. is it a rule that if you like one band you have to dislike the others?

  • Welcome to the internet, where everything has to be a fucking competition.

  • @FidoDido1980 I realize it's been a year, but I love you for that comment regardless

  • @FidoDido1980 wow i knever knew i could be so agree with u

  • This song is unique, and so is Radiohead. I`ve never seen or heard a band that combines each of it`s instruments the way this guys do. Each member respects the place they have in every song, that way, Radiohead songs are never dull or boring, instead they get better every time you listen to them. One of the greatest bands of all time, without any doubt.

  • It's an absolutely ridiculous conversation going on here.

Music is "subjective". It cant be measured like you can measure the brightness of a light, for example, which is objective.

That's what makes music amazing and beautiful. I find beauty in Radiohead, someone else in Boyzone, another person in Michael Jackson and someone else in Led Zeppelin.

None of these bands/artists are "better" than the other, musically. It's a personal taste.

  • Now, if you talk about "creativity", then that's a whole different matter and RH are, without doubt, one of THE most creative bands of their time.

As were other bands before them.

    And before them..

And so on... and so on...

  • I agree with you 100%. But sometimes, it would be nice to have a certain amount of objectivity with music.

For instance I think objectively, Radiohead are better then Boyzone. It should be written down in the encyclopedia.

  • A good point, well made, lol :-)

  • This is not "Later..."

  • Yes, yes it is.

  • one of my favorite song in the world.

  • im a hugw muse fan but i live the way radiohead has lots of instrumentaion in their music

  • Ed absolutly handsome!!!

  • esto es live at BBCstudios 2002 creo

  • hahahahah hes funny he was gibbering abit

  • this is mumble mumble muble

  • no, they actually did reinvent noise. THey are the best band ever. Thom yorke was sent from god to help the earth.

  • Their music isnt noise

    It is art

  • did he say paranoid android at 0:17 ?

  • yes

  • yes...

  • Ok, this is a great song and Radiohead is great, but I sometimes have to turn my nose up at their fan base. They are remarkable musicians, with an impressive amount of talent and ability. But they are not the greatest musicians of all time, they did not "reinvent noise." The most amazing aspect of them as a band is the fact that they broke through to the mainstream with complex, and quite good music that would normally be shunned from the top 40 without a second thought.

  • Bah. Go listen crappy Nirvana, that is way cooler... not.

  • Never said they were, not even that big a fan of them (or NIN) anymore. Doesn't invalidate my point. Radiohead fans need to stop over hyping the band. They are good, yes. They however, are not the motherfucking musical messiah.

You're ridiculous raving about them being the greatest thing ever is just myopic.

  • I agree with you, I found several articles stating that Radiohead is the best band from nowadays. However, music is not a competition. I assure you that there are people who thinks that Metallica is the best band ever, as well as NIN or what about The Rolling Stones? Music is very subjective so no band is better than another. They all serve they purpose which is entertain people.

  • That doesnt mean that I dont like Radiohead, I love Radiohead and Paranoid Android is one of the best songs I've ever heard in my life. But is just my opinion. I'm sure that Metallica's fans or QOTSA's fans wont agree with me. Or Black Eyed Peas fans.

  • yeah i know how you feel. However! there are few bands i have heard on this planet in the world alt/indie/experimental rock that are as fucking united and tight with each other as this band. As a musician, if i could find a group of friends & musicians to play with this fucking tight and on the same page, shit, i'd be in the next radiohead.

only reason for my comment is that i have stopped listening to radiohead, you know, cause it's old hat. but i just came back tonight and shit, theyre tits!

  • Totally agreed. They always have a great time, there's no chickenhshit fighting on stage like oasis. They have a great time and it shows in the music. They rock for sure, I was just saying that they aren't the have all and end all. I love them, but I can count tons of other artists I like just as much from different genres.

  • Oh please, Radiohead to me is the best band in the world-easily. Just because they aren't the musical messiah to YOU doesn't mean they aren't to us. I mean-you named yourself after two bands. I think NiN and moreso NIRVANA aren't half the bands that radiohead is, but I don't go around to Nine Inch Nails videos saying "This isn't the musical messiah guys!!".

  • And saying you aren't a big fan of either anymore just shows your dedication to the music you like, your tastes are still evolving. Radiohead has been my favorite band for 10 years and I have never stopped listening to them-true bliss for me. High points and low points in my life still Radiohead beckons out of my speakers.

  • My tastes were still evolving when I made this account. I was in junior high at the time, I'm now in college.

And there's a difference between greatest band in the world TO YOU and the greatest band in the world. I'm saying that RH aren't the greatest band.period.endofdiscussion

They are great, they make great music, they have had a huge influence, but they are still dwarfed by other bands in every respect. There are groups out there more talented and influential, so RH can't be the greatest.

  • I disagree, I'd like to hear some of these so called bands.

  • I'm pretty sure Pink Floyd has them beat, to pick an easy one. Hell, I could argue Nine Inch Nails does too. It would be a tough argument but it would work. They are not the fucking have all and end all. I'm not saying radiohead suck, I'm just saying its myopic to argue they are the best band. It just shows you have shallow taste and are little better than people hailing Lady Gaga. There's an infinity of music, unless you've heard it all (and you haven't) don't shoot you mouth off.

  • You guys don't get the point of being in a band if you think it's some stupid competition to be the best. You know what I think about the best band in the world? I think there's no such thing. A lot of bands have made a lot of influential music, one of them being Radiohead in my opinion, but that doesn't mean they think they're better than everyone else. They're here because they love making music and let's leave it at that.

  • Which was my initial point.

  • Agreed. Pink Floyd has been, and probably will be for some time, my favorite band. Radiohead and Muse follow, though. I think of Radiohead as a modern-day Pink Floyd; Because both Radiohead and Pink Floyd are one-of-a-kind bands. Neither has been done before, and nobody can quite get the same sound that they can. I've always loved Radiohead... The'yre a fantastic band. Definitely one of the better ones of modern day. But there's always going to be someone better, I think.

  • what are some of the best NIN and Pink Floyd songs?? ive tryed to get into pink floyd before but it didnt happen. so maybe i was just listening to the wrong songs by them.

  • try interstellar overdrive like a live version or anything from their album darkside of the moon

  • listen to 'pigs' or 'good bye blue sky'

    those are catchy songs

  • There is no wrong song when listening Pink Floyd. Everything that Pink Floyd did is a supreme master piece.

  • darkside of the moon wish you were here pigs the wall

pigs is really dark it is a must for anyone's soul

  • Pink Floyd will tell you they don't really do 'songs', they do albums. They just won a legal battle to stop their record company selling individual album tracks. Sure there were financial motives too but it's true that their songs don't always work out of context, at least the irony can be lost. Saying all that 'Shine on....' and 'Dark side...' are pretty good songs.

  • @markc17 I fully support this. Listening to Idioteque all the way through is one of the best experiences of my life... but that may have just been because I was on shrooms.

Either way, good shit by me.

  • I absolutely agree with you. There's two many different bands who people look too and love, and it is all about your taste in music, or how your ear works. Led Zeppelin is the perfect example of it they are considered one of the most influential, but there are always those Pink Floyd fans who don't listen to Zeppelin and in their own opinion they think they suck.

In the end its all about your opinion. Without others opinions where would the music industry be?

  • well said

  • ive never known a band with 3 guitarists who are just so dam good, alot of bands have 1 good guitarist with another just chugging away at power chords, but radiohead have the most complex apegios i dont know how they play it while singing

  • Love his voice

  • what the hell did he say when he was introducing the song hahahahaha

  • mmhmhmmmgunnamamahm....called paranoid android

  • 0:10

    ...what? XDD

  • he said this is a mwmwwmwungmungung XDXDXD

  • really? i heard him say "this is a gurhgrulrhgug"? XDD!

  • some people go to church, i listen to radiohead.

  • Man, that's it!! That was THE comment...

  • i do both actually.

  • well put!

  • no doubt this has gotta be one of the best songs ever written, its amazing song writing!

  • bring on reading 09'

wonder what expressions he's gonna pull out

  • is like an orgasm to see them LIVE

  • It's even more

  • I do believe it is a mockery. Great lyric though!

  • your absolutely right, the other live paranoid android i saw, the face expression :D!! you should have seen the look on his face when he sang

" god loves his children "

"Paranoid Android" by Radiohead (Glastonbury 2003)

check out his face expression ? ?? :D

  • what year is that?

  • 2001

  • speachless...

  • mozart would love radiohead

  • Comment removed

  • @thelessworld mozart would have got all their albums in vynil from the bends

  • @thelessworld No one cares about what Mozart would think, everyone cares about the question:

    ''HOW GREAT IS RADIOHEAD!?''

  • @thelessworld Maybe. But did you consider the possibility that he might think that it's too loud and complete rubbish?

Don't get me wrong, I love Radiohead as much as you, and I could be wrong about what I just said and Mozart would love them, but you have to consider all of the possibilities when making a statement of that magnitude.

  • @Mikemaniax I think Mozart would apprciate the dynamics and intensity of the volume... Would be interesting to know for sure though wouldn't it!!!! haha

  • radiohead is the best

  • oh, mate, this is just fuckin' suberb!

seems like 1984 in chords progressions

  • ugh. radiohead would shoot you for that lol.

  • Why the hell did people thumb you down for? Just because they are trying to be elitist, doesn't mean you have to be put down! I agree with you, man, those songs totally changed a lot, and gave 90's a signature.

  • Damn! Thats finger lickin' good!

  • nice one!

  • They reinvented the noise. For good.

Aguirreto hacete dar por las orejas

  • ahhhh ive gone all shivery :O

  • amazing

  • These guys have become one of those classic, timeless and very necessary bands. Great music with great lyrics. I mean, I can't describe what they have done for me, not to mention modern music. I personally hold them in such high esteem as The Beatles and Bob Dylan, among others. Bra-fucking-vo!

  • Radiohead is one of the best live bands EVER!!

  • Shredded Wheat! One of my favourite songs! The epitome of excellent musicianship with quality, thoughtful lyrics.

  • I was humming,"What's thiiiiiiiiiiss" all day today. So awesome.

  • In the recorded version, it's "What's this"

  • He does say What's That.

  • Sometime's it's "What's that."

    Sometimes it's "What's this."

    Somtimes it's "What's there."

  • also, and probably more so: "what was that"

  • wrong, it's "whats that"

  • it's a cool!

  • I love the way the guitar echoes on "little piggy" part.

  • yeeeeeeeeah! perfect live! uuoh, still amazed..

  • This song rocks!!!!!!!

  • I may be paranoid, but not an android!

  • i may be paranoid, but not an android.

  • FUCKING AWESOME

  • Greenwood is god!

  • intense and brilliant

  • I'm Japanese high school student. And I love radiohead! But when I heard this song for first time, I didnt think this is good song.I mean this song is little complicated. However, now,I understand that this song is the best ever!!!!!!Sorry for my poor English

  • Yeah, I didn't realize it until you mentioned it, but he is definitely rushing some of the parts.

  • yh but the bendws are meant 2 b sloppy in those parts because it adds to the strangeness/abstractness of the song

  • You are completely right! Just don't like bands that centre around one figure for so long they cannot see the forrest for the trees. He is one of the more creative guitarists out there, I just don't like that version 'cos it's too unlistenable. You should check out Joel from Howling Bells. Real good guitarist!

  • I think this is the best song of Radiohead, even more than Creep
