Snake got the Soliton radar, some cigs, and a stealth suit. Big Boss got his SONAR system thing, cigars, an eyepatch, and a dart gun. Ya see? Snake and Big Boss are much more hardcore than James Bond, and they seem much more focused on stealth than 00-Zero.

As a massive MGS and James Bond fan, its probably no surprise this is my favourite game ever, i believe that Naked Snake vs The Boss is the greatest boss fight of all time. Although maybe not the most challenging, its the most emotion ive ever felt during a boss fight and with this music coming into the fight for the last five minutes, its sheer genius from Mr Kojima. Thank you for bringing us this game and showing us that you can introduce a character who i think is better than Solid Snake.

This song is amazing, before they put the MPO themes in on MGO, I always had this on during SNE.

Although, I don't think being beat to a pulp by Volgin quite compares to walking through a hall of microwaves in terms of 'cruel things'. :P

But then you look at the hardship pursuing and killing The Boss caused, which makes Snakes final battle with Liquid, who after all, wasn't even Liquid...kinda lame.

I like both characters, you may say I see long-term role models in both of 'em, sadly enough.

im going to have to disagree on this one. I understand that big boss has been through alot but i this solid/old snake is the best out of all of them. Big boss has seen some cruel things but so has Solid snake. And what makes Solid snake better is that he technical surpassed big boss when he defeated him twice. Snake then defeats his own brother. then he defeats ocelot which was big boss's old rival. Old snake was ready to kill big boss at the end of mgs4 but big boss wasnt going to.
