  • I can see myself being like this when im older.

  • @racehonda9 It's sad getting old

  • @CORVAIRWILD For being old your pretty badass. Not gonna lie here.

  • @racehonda9 Nobody gets younger, or gets out alive... -:)))

  • @CORVAIRWILD I found the older I get, the more easily people accept my insanity.

Sounds to me that you don't see any crazy snow in your part of the country. When I was younger, we used to keep a snowblower in the second floor spare bedroom. After a good 2 day storm, I would have to push the snowblower out the second floor window and slowly dig my way down to the bulldozer so I could plow the driveway. That was snow.

  • @needtomesswithyou Yeah, those were the days!!!

  • 3:34

    "CLINK... Oh shit "

    LOL

  • it is the trailer that stopped it and the pillock driveing

  • @CORVAIRWILD Touche' good sir. and an admirable choice of oil as well. any idea where I can find a flywheel for a 6.2?

  • @CodyNS07 FLAP... local Auto Parts store

  • I've always liked full-sized SUVs.

  • @Seattlecarnut This one gives nothing but trouble

  • @CORVAIRWILD Bummer dude! I understand you also have a Suburban. Is that one any better?

  • @Seattlecarnut I have several Subs. The K5 is by FAR the biggest POS

  • Shit happens, eh?

  • @Seattlecarnut Yep... especially with than POS K5

  • Seriously, you are an irritating tool

  • @thebigdeakify and you're a big dick

  • Wow my quattro would have made it.

  • @Ky7yL Search my vids for some kids smokin a spliff in traffic in their Daddys Audi... -:)))

  • damn shouldnt of stopped.

  • time for jeep

  • @CRDLIBERTY

I test drove a Liberty when they 1st came out, they don't suit me at all, I saw a bigger Jeep model in Canada with a diesel... Only in Canada???

  • @CORVAIRWILD I've never driven a Jeep, either Liberty or or Cherokee. Why more diesels aren't sold, or why more people don't buy diesel-powered SUVs is beyond me. They get better fuel economy and also provide more torque for towing.

  • @Seattlecarnut Sales depend on advertising. no ads, no sales, pretty simple!!!!

  • @CORVAIRWILD Indeed.

  • perhaps people just don't want to bother paying more for upkeep and regular maintenance on a diesel? I wouldn't know I've always driven gas vehicles except for my grandfathers 18 wheeler, now thats a monster on maintenance

  • @hunterfleet That seems to be the case. It's too bad, too. You want to be able to go farther than a bicycle or walking will get you, but we're unable or unwilling to spend the money and things begin to deteriorate.

  • it wouldnt have droke if it was a ford lol

  • yea it would have exploded

  • rofl. it's like repair is nothing for you. When parts break on my baby, it takes money.

  • Yeah, but I don't have a job, just fixing sh*t all da time

  • sounds like me, but when I don't have the spare parts, it really sucks.

  • Looks like the interior of my car, a pigpen.

  • I have a better one I'll post... JUNK!!!

  • Dumpster diver? I don't get it. What do you do?

  • I dumpster Dive... I see a dumpster, I dive in, find stuff... Make a living...

  • Do you play electric guitar or acoustic guitar? I'm more than interested in watching you play.

  • I'm a Dumpster Diver!!!

  • Ah! I get it now.

  • How long?

  • I'd love to hear it. Do you play acoustic guitar or electric guitar?

  • The vid is up, but it's long, so I'll make a shorter version. What kind of guitar? Torture guitar!!! -:)

  • That makes sense. Vehicles like this need to have diesel engine. Gasoline engines may accelerate better, but fuel economy sucks!

  • I'm playing guitar on a new vid. I dare ya ta watch it!!!

  • Is this a gasoline Suburban or a Diesel? At idle, it sounds like a diesel.

  • Diesel, of COURSE!!! I only had one gas Sub, the Black one I drove back from San Diego... SOLD!

  • Talk about fucked up. Now you can't drive through the snow.

  • Tell me bout it!!!

  • ur a little creepy not gona lie

  • I'm normal, sorry to let you down

  • buy spicer! never breaks

  • I did, a whole box!!!

  • I want some of whatever-the-hell this guy is on!

Fuck, I wish I could have that much fun in life--without getting too worried things when shit goes down. This dude should be a psychiatrist!

  • Check my Corvette Museum vid!!! Yipeeeee!!!!!!

  • I would have pulled you out with my old ZJ

  • an after thought... that had to be a sub-standard U-joint. you didn't push it that hard to make it break. Chinese steel strikes again!

  • Made in USA NAPCO, with a good reputation... I still have it on my bech

  • I just found this now. You're very calm A. I'd have cut loose with a plethora of profanity if I did that.

  • F* in RIGHT!!!

  • LOL : )

  • the u joint broke on my f150 in the front end just like that except i didnt notice and broke the whole shaft

  • Lol this guys funny.

  • your truck blows if you had to lock in for that

  • You're an odd one bud. Sucks about that U-joint, I would suspect that applying the brakes to had a little something to do with the death of the joint, but sometimes you gotta use em in situations like this so...good luck with that D60 conversion!

  • Just put a deposit on a 1 ton D60 Dlazer diesel... for parts, RUSTED!!!

  • Man...hes CORVIARWILD.....

  • this guy is on crack!! ahhhh

    cool truck though

  • is that a dana 60?

  • I wish! a DANA 60 wouldn't break...

  • Just realised you alaways get the shaft!

  • Ouch... I'm surprised it broke, the truck looks stock and you weren't beating it. Easy fix tho.

  • Me too, dead stock... Something else caused it? I'm waiting for a Spicer u joint. Even tho NAPCO is good,...

  • If you only had one failure, I might just blame fatigue from the combination of the desiel torque & the plow(even tho it did not actually break while plowing, it could have cracked then), but I think you have had at least 2 failures close together? Which would indicate another problem or maybe that axle just ain't up to the job. I seem to think from one of your other vids that you are considering a bigger axle, which would certainly fix the problem.

  • Both prev failures were JUNK Mile Marker hubs. Little engagement.

This is a first for a ujoint. Def shouldn't have broken.

    DANA 60 should happen...

  • If that was the original stock ujoint, I -could- see the plow + desiel doing that over time. but not to a Dana 60. :) I never used MM parts, it just looked like it should have engaged more. When I have hubs, they are usually locked 24/7, unless I have a driveline problem. I almost broke my CJ hubs, but I upgraded before they failed, the cracks were very visible.

  • times like these make you want to yell FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL! Aint that how it always hapens out for a sunday drive, get stuck, break somethin, then ya spend the rest of the weekend workin! LOL never fails

  • poor blazer poor corvairwild lol my toyota would just drive ova top of the sno but its got bad rusty junk chassie n would snap tryna get off oh wait it did snap pos at least ur truck didnt snap like mine lol dont buy a rusty 84 hilux

  • Be takin' it apart soon...

  • piece of junk universal joint! and nice ford mirrors! : ) i can't believe you got stuck! lol lol that snow isn't that deep!

  • Only 1 FERD mirror, $1 at swap meet. Blazer was fully loaded, 'cept tiny stock mirrors. JUNK!!!

  • I bring you a nice clean blazer and all you are doing is breaking, it your KRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Have you D r I V E N A FERD, Lately???

  • lol stupid POS chevys!!!! See, this is why you should buy a FORD! ;)

u break more stuff on your trucks doing things that should never break anything lol I cant believe u got stuck there!!!

  • WHAT did YOU DO? Can't believe theres still snow.....UH...OH! :)

  • peice o junk 10 bolt non posi crap.

bring out zee TBI powaaa ! if all else fails grab a small block...

  • Leave me alone!!! Diesel's rule, 'cept they're too HEAVY! Lol...

  • why do you take the white sub. it has manual locked hubs. and i think u said that auto locking hubs dont work in reverse?

  • auto hubs work in both directions to turn them off you put it in 2wd and back up 10 feet

  • mmhm. thx

  • I'd heard rumors they disengage in reverse, even in 4x4? Any truth???

  • mine have a bit of play from when you put it in forward then in revers it will kinda clunk when the axles spin and lock the hubs again and when you stuck and you kick in the auto hubs you put it in 4L so the axles spin slow when the hubs lock or youll lose your teeth on the steering wheel

  • Auto hubs sometimes fail in reverse, I've still got auto locks and so far they have worked fine.

  • my mom has a 00' ford rusty bucket. it has auto hubs. they failed in both directions. sucks. auto hubs are great.but they dont have the strength as the manual hubs

  • Strenght like my Mile Marker junk hubs??

  • lol. mayby not mayby so.

  • The white Sub would take two batteries, they're back home on da charger, and it won't strat without being pluggged in, glo plugs not all working, and the black Sub has better tires

  • the 10 bolts don't like those 33" tires. The POS on had 31's not as hard on the axles. Be sure to buy a spicer ujoint to put in, they are the strongest. You should throw the 1 ton axles under it from the 3500 srw.

  • he can you answer me this? what axles would my 1985 GMC sierra classic 1500 4wd with the 6.2 diesel and a 4 speed standard with overdrive have underit i wanna jack it up 6 inches and throw on some 35's and a banks kit

  • Most likely you've got 10 bolts, If you can find a set of axles from a 3/4 ton you can swap in a 14bolt rear and 10 bolt front They both bolt right up. Or get a set from a 1 ton for 14 bolt rear and dana 60 front. The 1 ton 14 bolt rear will have to have the spring perches moved to bolt in. 10 bolt front will survive for a while on 35's if you are easy on it. I'd swap in 3/4 ton axles. Get rid of the 10 bolt rear, If you snap an axle your tire will fall off.

  • Aren't the 1/2 and 3/4 tons the exact same fr diffy? Just diff rotors???

And why are the springs and perches wider on the 1 ton?

  • Yea for the front 3/4 and 1/2 ton are the same. I think some 3/4 10 bolts may have thicker axle tubes. The 1 ton frames are different so the spring perches don't line up. I say run 3/4 ton axles with 35s cause a dana 60 is so expensive. My main concern is the beefing up the rear axle, You can limp home with a broken front but there's nothing to hold the wheel on if you break a 10 bolt rear axle shaft.

  • Thicker axle? Hmmm I'll ask CK5. I have a 1 ton, but so rusty! I should part it out for the Blazer. I agree 'bout the full floating rears! I have a few, but local rusty. I'll need to sanblast, change rear backing plate, 'cause they're the older bolt on emerg cables... Diff style... More work! Or just stay outta' da snow!!!

  • It has the same lite duty ones as I broke. You need a DANA 60. I have one, and I need to install it!

  • Your 85 will have a 10 bolt front differential and a 12 bolt rear differential. 6" lift is easy -- Shackle flip out back, springs up front. Blocks == BAD! Banks turbo = good!

I ran 35" boggers on my 1/2 ton differentials and never had a problem with it.

  • sweet once i get some money ill order my stuff and ill have one hell of a truck i got it stuck in about 7 inches of water and ice today threw it in 4X4 (thank god for auto hubs or my feet woulda got mighty cold) and i backed up then she roared right through

  • I've never liked auto hubs, but I really can't say too much as I never owned them, but I got a funny story about them. At a race track spectator parking I had my 93 firebird backed way up a grass hill. a 3/4 ton 4x4 tried backing up where I was but couldn't do it cause his auto hubs wouldn't engage and his rear tires just spun on the grass. It was all the drivers fault tho, he was spinning the tires so fast the hubs couldn't engage, I could hear them racheting, lol.

  • that sucks

  • Ze tork ze CRACK!!! o.O!!!!

  • "Did this in the winter and got stuck ... wont get stuck today"

    uh huh ...

  • klonk that went that u-joint

  • oh boy...

  • lol you broke your shit in the only snow on earth.
