God bless the Vincents and all they've done over the decades to promote bluegrass! Not only Johnny & Carolyns group "The Sally Mountain Show", but Rhonda's amazing career solo & with The Rage, Darrins career with Ricky & now with Dailey & Vincent too. AND there's a new generation comming as Rhonda's daughters Sally & Tensel now have a small fledgling bluegrass group too. Not bad for a bunch of bumpkins from the sticks of northeast Missouri!
Dailey and Vincent. The Best in Bluegrass!! Can't wait to see them at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, NC on Sunday, July 26th, 2009, at 6 pm. Don't miss it!!
I just saw these guys @ the Opry last Saturday night (Jan 3) and they were just breath taking! They sang "By the Mark" and recieved a standing ovation. They were definately the highlight of the Opry that night ;)
i just saw them at a bluegrass festival in myrtle beach and darren gave me a lesson on highway 40 blues haha i wasnt really sure how the break went and he showed me.. it was awesome
Jamie and Darren may have jumped out of 2 perfectly good flying planes, but before they started falling to the ground, they grew wings and they're still flying great! Keep up the great work guys.
These guys are awesome ! Saw them in VA. They are so fun to talk with. Jamie holds nothing back. He told a funny story about when he ran into Dolly at a restaurant ... priceless ! They were the best act by far at the BGF when I saw them.
I saw them a few days ago in Amelia, VA and they were fabulous! Easily the best band at the whole festival. (Sorry Rhonda) But they even did better than Rhonda Vincent & the Rage!
I talked with Jamie at a show a couple months ago and I heard him say that he was so scared the night this was shot that if someone would have came up to him and said "BOO" he would have jumped ten feet in the air. They sure have a good thing going. I know God will bless them because they put Him first.
GREAT,plan on getting your cd soon, hope to see you at a festival this year as well, you sound like the brother type harmonies.
I also like your politically correct statement above that jamie is the taller one, however being from missouri and watching darrin and the sally mountain show back in the 70's he did used to stand on a stool on stage to reach the mics,,, good luck to both of you ,, love your true traditional sound,, bluegrass needs more of that,,
Love these fellas. I don't think I'll ever get tired of their sound. Regards
from Irish fan.
