should of put a sign on window saying "Radar detector test on progress".
the ones only registering at 91meters probaly would not give you enough time to slow down at highway speed. that would be like a 1.5 second warning. pretty much telling telling you "say cheese"
it is possible to jam them. not sure what happens on a speed camera but if its a hand held gun they will pull you over and investigate why they cant ping you.
My Whistler PRO-78SE picked up the new poliscan this week about 150m away. You can get one on ebay from the USA for a fraction of the price WA retailers sell them for.
@delonixradar apparently 40m is to close. ive been told that it registers your speed at 40 meters away then takes a photo at 10meters.
there was a camera setup like this in Bunbury the other day, same deal with like 4 guys all i guess learning how to set it up. there was two camera's for front and rear plates.
anyone know when there setup like this is the radar is facing both ways or if the radar is only facing you coming towards it.
Ah, I know where that is. Hey, good video. Are we supposed to be mounting our V1s up high now against these things? The v1 seemed to do rather well mounted vertically down below.
Thanks for the video - good to see Poliscan recording in WA against detectors, the V1 range is good but suppose as the road is slightly bending to the right, range would be the maximum. Would be interesting with the road bending to the left. The 95m range was probably as there was a white vehicle in front.

@warrenwphillips Other guys have reported 40m warning.
We've seen in a reverse set up you are getting zero warning, regardless of which radar detetector you have.

@33810331 What are you looking for (tested)?

Anybody tested the Laser Interceptor against these cameras?
azntubester 1 year ago
@azntubester Yes, there are 1 or 2 videos already on YouTube
delonixradar 1 year ago
@delonixradar Yep Ive seen those videos. Has anybody in Perth tried jamming the cameras?
azntubester 1 year ago
@azntubester [even if they had] I highly doubt anyone would admit to it on a public forum

@1emfire Not 100% sure, but up high would seem to get more of a clear view of the camera ahead, so as not to be blocked by cars

@matt0in0perth Yea, I'd say you were right about the white van.
Not as rigid test as we've done before but were interesting results nevertheless.
