  • evil spiderface is evil

  • @RoDziLLA39 evilとか言われて喜ぶ人いるかなぁ? 嫌な感じ。

  • you using what kind of power? hand?

  • Bloody damn good job!

  • : )

  • beautiful creation my friend! keep building!

  • :))))

    namkol.com

  • PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • PLEASE HAVE A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MAKE THIS!!!

  • Powered by Theo Jansen wind sculptures that they make in papercraft.

Still, he received the wind a good case NAA.

  • Sweet!

  • Do you have a video that shows how to make it?

  • awesome 6legged crab bro :)

  • music?

  • wow amazing!

  • la na ufpe agente faz un desse tamanho de uns 1,5m

  • How can i do that??

  • cool

  • MIND = BLOWN.

  • wat is the song used in this video 0.0 sounds so good ><

  • Wow! I love this! Nice work!

  • Wow. Very nice work.

  • What gives the center piece power?

  • except it's not wind powered and 14 feet tall....

  • its like a baby animal learning how to walk ^^ especially with that music

  • nice, how did you make the conections between the parts? i did it with tape but it didn't worked that well :s

  • just use super glue :D

  • but than it can not move :s

  • its made from paper, the paper bends, so no need for hinges, just use thinner paper for the connections.

  • aaah great idea ty ;)

maybe i wil make another one. i already made one ( just look at my vids) but this one over here works much better.

  • just with paper? nice dude!

  • you are awesome.

  • nice i like it how you made it out of paper

i made it in a computer visualisation sandbox called phun it works perfectly

  • phun is awsome

  • I love seeing creativity and ingenuity at work...

  • What are you on? This is not fake! How can you tell by "the pixels"? Your entire computer screen is made up of pixels! Just because someone has more creativity and time to work on stuff like this than you do, doesn't mean it's fake.

  • it is fake dude, i have seen quite a few fakes in my life, and i can tell by some of pixels. if u cant see this u should be asking yourself "what i am on".

  • It can't be fake. The camera is too shaky, the movement is too human, and the shadows are too precise. Pixels cant tell you anything in a video like this. If you can find a distinctive part of the video that shows that this is fake, please point it out.

  • lol your getting trolled, he knows it isnt fake.

google " it's a shop - I can tell from the pixels and having seen a lot of shops in my time"

  • I figured...

  • Gratulation good sire for finally realising that my point was correct. took you long time thou.

  • I agree completely, my esteemed colleague.

These are indeed the very same sort of pixels one may find strewn about the floor of a master forger's workshop, or under the fingernails of some crafty rapscallion - passing off a trick photogramme as proof of fairies, or some such.

Similar in type to the pixels one used to find being meticulously shaved from a counterfiet mp3s to save weight, back when we still used the telegramme - or moulded into illicit software by rude chaps in the colonies.

  • hahaha.. i laughed my ass off reading that!

  • @arkizzle77 what

  • and having seen many in your time?

  • nice trolling :3

  • Where can I get the model?

  • impressive

  • Excellent job!

  • the box 2d physics library has this as a tech demo, cool stuff

  • I would really like to know how a full scale vehicle would do with this technology instead on wheels. Something like a motorcycle.

  • I'm actually going through an intense discussion and planning with a metal crafter company about the construction of a bicycle-like Theo Jansen machine.

  • theo jansen already makes full sized ones.. fuck wheels, this is better.. strandbeest [dot] com

  • SET IT ON FIRE AND SEE HOW FAR IT GETS BEFORE TURNS TO ASH :d

  • nice work!

  • wat is that thing soposed to be or do????????

  • Comment removed

  • walk

  • where can I buy one?

  • its an artificial animal originally invented by, well, Theo Jansen. you cnt buy it from what i see though.

  • the movement looks too spider-like! I'd want to step on it!

  • krazee O.o ! ! !

  • bravo

  • Gifted & talented.

  • that thing could walk pretty dang fast

  • its ben made in phun its a 2d sand box

  • Can you give the model out? Like, the flatform i mean.

  • Science project, lulz

  • what the hell are you on about!?

  • huh,, thats amazing,, hmm who've made this song? :o

  • it looks like it gets stuck >.>

  • show a video on how to make it

  • Theo Jansen is just amazing. A genius

  • paper? wow, gj

  • how do you do this with paper?

  • Porky from Earthbound?

  • Can it walk? Very nice btw :D

  • It's like a spin :D

  • Hey man, I'm from Brazil and I love this!!

    Great work!

What's the name of this music (please)?

  • Song: Tighten Up

Artist: Archie Bell and the Drells

  • @TVRf4N

    this is not that song

  • I like it. Its has elegant movements. A few more parts and complexities and its movements will become more elegant.

  • Uh oh, you're a dick!

  • -headdesk- It is paper. Ever seen colored sheets of paper? I love this, I'm going to attempt making one of my own.

  • aint fake..... its real and the machanism is perfect but its made of paper , so u gotta like ''drag it too start''

  • Fake how? What's fake about it?

  • or at very least, slapped unconscious!

  • Two thumbs down?

    IT's TRUE.

  • I cannot understand what is a fake.

I think that there is a very significant argument if I have you upload a video proving that you are a fake.

(I use translation software. Please forgive mistranslation, the mistake of the grammar.)

  • I cannot speak the English very much and cannot understand to a small nuance.

I am not angry at you.

But please refrain from the incomprehensible joke because it is the cause of the misunderstanding.

(I use translation software. Please forgive mistranslation, the mistake of the grammar.)

  • I didnt notice any english mistake so you are good. xD

  • this translation software makes you sound very smart :D

  • @MrThewowplayer lession???

  • @MrThewowplayer ...says the guy who misspelled "lesson" lmao...

  • You are one very clever son of a gun.

  • Uhh yeah it is.

  • i've been wondering... does this move on its own or is there some kind of battery or what?

  • it looks like its rubber bands but im not sure

  • FRIKKIN AWESOME

  • nice work how did you build it?

  • Está guapo el cacharrito ese.

  • Gracias por el comentario

  • where u got all the pieces and proportions from?

  • Diagrams.

  • hablas castellano?

    muy muy buen trabajo

    felicidades

  • Gracias por el comentario.

    Contesté con software de traducción.

    Desgraciadamente no puedo hablar español.

  • Marvellous work. I was looking for walking mechanical objets, and this is an examlple. I've made a paper mechanism too, bat it isn't as sophisticated as yours. The video is in Youtube, the name, in Spanish: "Una maquina de papel".

  • Gracias por el comentario

  • could we see it walk??

  • wat een kut ding@!

  • hahahaha

  • That looks friggin sweet. Do you have any instructions how to make it? I wanna make a whole army ready to invade my school...

  • You know, this could be a new age of fast, spider-like tanks for warfare

  • Thank you for comment.

But I do not like the military use

  • It was only an opinion, and even if you don't like it, I'm sure someone out there will still try.

  • Dude, he is right, this would make a sweet tank. But I'd think the materials would be to heavy to make the legs out of, or they'd be too light to not get blown up

  • I think it's not a good idea for tanks because legs stuck in mud easily, while a standard tank has a lot more surface on its tracks, so the weight is better distributed and does not sink in mud so easily. It is also much easier to speed a wheel than it is to speed a reciprocating leg mechanism. Think of vibrations...

Also, this mechanism only moves the legs in a certain way, predefined by its geometry, while in the real world a legged vehicle would need to adapt to the terrain in every step.

  • lol its a shame such beauty will be turned into a form of warfare. But i think he is 100% right, if this catches on, the first place will be in our military. The way these things walk could certainly be a tank or manned robot or a number of other things that im sure someone can think of. Its definitely awesome thats for sure. the mans a genius.

  • DROIDEKAS ^^

  • wow awesome, but what is it??

  • look up theo jansens Rhinocerus

  • It's almost working.

  • WOOOOOW

    is that ONLY paper??

  • yeah, and is it REALLY powered by wind??? nice job though its really cool looking.

  • Of course not >.>

  • So cool. And inspiring. Nice job.

  • I think these Jansen Machines are so cool. Your video is nice because it's zoomed in enough you can see how all the joints work together. I might try making one myself.

  • Thank you for nice comment!

  • get a small DC motor on that thing and see where it goes. actually i might do this its very cool

  • ahhhhh paper spider from hell---nicely made but little freaky

  • Come work for me i want u to work for me i want u to make WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION for me lol

  • Thank you for comment!

but,I dislike WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION.

  • WOW like if his name isnt scary enough he leaves a comment lol

  • as far as i know there isn't one

you have to watch one of the cgi videos

then you do trial and error

  • Thank you for comment!

  • It jammed every few moves, didn't it? That's why you had to restart the opposit direction.

Good job. I want to make one too.

  • please tell me were you got the plans. i want to make one to.

  • Why does it stagger?

  • Sorry. It is because I maintained it by hand.

  • cool, it's well made.

  • 好工作,你何处得到了它在? 我意味指示

or if you dont speak chinese.. I dont, I used a translator to make that lol... But umm.. its "Good Job, Where did you get it at? I mean the instructions

    "

  • Thank you.

    Unfortunately I cannot speak Chinese.

  • where did u get that translator??!??

  • Very good job! It`s really cool!

  • Gracias por el comentario.

    Hago mi mejor!!
