This CVT looks much more sophisticated then a sloppy chain drive.

I think you would get more power from a CVT beacause just by looking at it, it seems that it would provide stronger torque, it is a lot more stronger, solid and get's you're power to you're wheels a lot quicker.

A chain would be weaker in comparison to this!

CVT is weaker, depends on friction between the belt and the sloped pulleys. A chain drive is solid metal on metal. Those karts dont produce enough torque for the CVT to be an issue.

There needs to be a class for CVT users. In the world of motorsport any thing goes in my opnion.

If it boosts performance for karts and makes them corner better then it should make an interesting kind of karting sport. This really impresses me.

Centrifugal force narrows front discs distance so the gear ratio goes high.

Belt tension widens front disks distance to low gear ratio.Quite simple mechacism.

Maintenance free for motorcycles.

Only belts and weight rolers needed for attrition.

CVTs are used very commonly for small scooters.Almost all nonshifter motorcycles use these transmissions.Seems no defficulty.

The revs pick up straight away out of a corner because of the rave as well as the CVT system but it definitely looks like it makes a difference

I have a Honda FIT in Brasil, it uses CVT transmission, very good... I love this kind of transmission, i wanna see this on F1 race tracks...

Yeah, it will work on any motor, the cv guys add a mod to the drive crank
