  • one line drawings remind me of raw creativity, nothing is perfect but everything is unique, awesome job

  • the raven?

  • i hate one line drawings but my art teacher is making me do this :|

  • EPIC

  • what exactly did you "sketch"?

  • i love it, it looks awesome. id try it.. but id fail

  • man.....

you've got an A in arts for shzre

  • first i was like :O!, but then i was like >:|

its not even anything. a 2 year old can draw random shit and not lift up the pencil.

  • its like an etch a sketch. i'm gonna try to get my art teacher to make this one of our projects this year. a one line sketch where the lines dont cross. :)

  • @awesomeness0192 that's pretty awesome! I'd love to see the results if you do the project.

  • Did you speed the clip up?

  • artists are simply pussys that will or need to be fucked its like there are two genders of the mind those who are strong and fuck those who are not and in turn get fucked.

  • cool you have skillz to draw without lift the pen :O

  • thats pretty shit, im not gonna lie...

  • thanks for your honesty

  • Wonderfull drawing! Can anybody tell me what the name is from that piano solo? Thx a lot!

  • i tried to do one line drawing.

my pen ran out of ink

    :(

  • lol

  • So kinda like an etch a sketch?

    {I mean that in a non rude way ,by the way}

  • it has a cool organic, electronic look to it

  • thanks. nice description :]

  • I just like the flow of the lines

  • love it!

  • i really like the drawing but for some reason i dont understand what it is suppost to be :P could anyone tell me what it is? i thought it was a tree at the start but then i got confused xD

good job by the way ;)

  • thanks. it's not supposed to be anything. I do take a lot of inspiration from nature and organic form, but this only aims to be a long line that doesn't cross itself.

  • i like you =]]

  • very nice, and well thought out, leaving yourself gaps to escape through and you got pretty good precision in retracing your lines for the shadow/tree/whatthefuckamidrawing effect.

    thumbs up

  • i tried this at school :D

  • the music fits it very well.

    hi paul.

  • I do this a lot, but I use those fancy old school color pencils that have 5 different colors in the lead! You should try it sometime, it turns out really pretty!

  • On what grounds are you basing your analysis? And which comments are you referring to?

    I'm flattered that you're concerned.

  • Lol.

Hi its chris by the way.

(Animationking101) if you remember me lol

  • is see an entrance with a tree that grew next to it lol ^__^

  • it looks like a HUGE maze good work i know i sure as hell couldnt do that :P

  • its not 1 line but it is a good picture ☺

    good job

  • actually it is,

    thanks

  • I think it's awesome!

  • it's like the pipes screensaver

  • Cool and Crazy Lol ^_^

  • You know what I think that would be a wicked maze I mean look at all those curves.

  • the thing with art is it dosent have to look like something.. its really emotions sometimes you just have to look a little harder to find what it means or inthis case he likes to draw and had no ideas haha :p

  • um........? wtf

  • exactly.

  • it might just be me but have no ide what that was supposed to be

  • it's not just you. to me it's a really long line. but I enjoyed doing it.

  • what do u do if ur pen runs out :P

  • lol.

I deal with it and use a different pen :D

  • Reminds me of etchasketch drawings :) That is essentially automatic drawing isn't it? A Surrealist technique. I like it. By the way you are a cool person, when I watch you create art it inspires me to do the same. I love your style as well, very distinctive. I wish you success, I'm off to do a year of Foundation Art now! Cheers! :)

  • I LIKE THAT! its a tree inside of our computers... wires and all that.

i should try that. i usually start in a corner doing curly-cues with a bunch of different colores and it makes something totally janis-joplin-era-ish.

wish you had a myspace so you could see them! :D

    thanks for sharing, and for the inspiration especially! :}

  • what is it?? or is it not done yet??

  • it's whatever you want it to be.

It's just a drawing exercise inspired by organic form :)

  • I do this allll the time when I'm bored or if Ineed idea's!

I also invented "scribble drawings" my books are full of them... qute fun :D

This great as usual!!! x :D

  • awesome! you should add some to Tailcast! :))

feel free to check out some of my other work over on tailcast.. there's a link on my channel :)

  • coolie

  • looks unfinished...

  • maybe it is :D

  • you win.

  • at the beginning i thought u were drawing a cliff or something... then I thought u were drawing the hair to someones portrait.... then it looked like a tree... and at the end it looked like a bizaare way of drawing streets...

lol i have such a wacky eye

  • i like your explaination! thanks :))

  • wow lol i saw a tree xD

  • wow you wouldn't believe the surreal things I see in your drawing. Incredible

  • okay(:

  • oops, just wasted another minute

  • i dont know what it is

  • lol this is awseome! but .....what is it?

  • hey nicholas.. It's not really anything in particular, just a tribute to organic form I guess.

    - colclough

  • Thanks colclough!

  • i am impressed! i wish i could draw like that.

  • Ah thanks dude!

  • seriously, i'm sure a lot of folks have no appreciation of just how difficutlt it is to draw one line.

  • Or.. how easy it is? Other than getting a bit of cramp, anyone can do it! I didn't like this til I saw it thru all you guys' eyes. YT rocks. lol. cheers buddy

  • Oh and you use a MAC? So do I :-) I've heard the same thing re: Leopard; that is why I still use Tiger (and I only purchased my MAC a year ago!)

    x, Daniel

  • Yeah man, it's a bugger. I'd say stick with tiger!

  • Reminded me and an etch-a-sketch, only better.

  • Hey Juicy! a few people said that! Maybe I should rename the video, of put it in the tags! Thanks :)

  • No prob! I totally didn't notice that. This vid is getting so many comments!

  • It's Satie; you're awesome.

  • oh, ok.. lol! you're too cultured for my own good! haha, thanks Daniel :)

  • Wonderful darling!!!

  • Thank Katelyn :)

  • If I should ever attempt something like that, I'm sure I'd do the equivalent of painting myself into a corner..then I would declare the drawing done! LOL Nice, Paul! Jack

  • lol.. it does happen! haha, cheers Jack, hope you're good buddy.

  • cool:) I don't know if I would have the patience for that, lol:)

  • Pretty cool mate! :)

  • thanks duane :)

  • umm...u rock. that is all.

  • A friend of mine does some great art in that style--with the lines and stuff.

  • Cool! Nice one Matthew.. is your friend on yt?

  • Fascinating! I imagine that drawing like that, never lifting the pen, can be a very challenging exercise.

    Moosie

  • Hey Moosie, I'm pleased you found it interesting.. The main challenge is usually to overcome cramps.. lol :)

  • Cool. :o)
