I know this came long before House, but I need to thank whoever thought to make this it's theme music because I'd never have been led to this AMAZING piece of ear honey otherwise. Never even thought of exploring trip hop before MassAtt
from 4:31 to 4:36 is the most beautiful sound I've ever heard made by a human's voice. I don't think anyone could top this no matter how hard they try.
Hearing Liz Fraser sing this again is just sublime. I'm not a big massive attack fan, but since the Cocteaus split this has been her most significant work, and its just wonderful.
No. Its from 'live at Abbey Road' A British TV show with a series of live perfomances, mostly unplugged, recorded in Abbey Road studios. Many other bands participated in the series: Coldplay, Gnarls Barkley, The Killers and many others.
I'm not sure on which channel it was aired or if the show is still running. I think maybe the British channel 4.
But in Sweden it was aired on channel 9. Thats why you see the 9:er in the right upper corner.

Elizabeth Fraser is one of the greatest singers. The scarcity of her work makes it all the more valuable. But I wish she would record and tour.
