This game has its pros and cons, and in my opinion the pros over weigh the cons. The graphics are great, and the game introduces feet, knees, elbows, and ground fighting. The online play is rather slow and seems awkward because once someone starts whipping combos you basically have to retreat like a pussy. I like tiring the opponent and bypass the knockout and trying to pull of a submission which is nearly impossible....if it was easy then the online play would really stink.

Wrestling =/= MMA. You don't get guillotined in wrestling. You obviously WOULDN'T shoot better than most MMA's since you'd end up getting guillotined. That's the easiest defense to a shoot where the guy's head is down. I don't know how you position your head in wrestling in a shoot, but every MMA instructor I've ever run into has said to keep the head up, and if you actually watch MMA that's what the pros do too.

you do know you have to attend the clinics to get better stats and better striking.....there are different levels to the striking and what ever grappling you choose.....
thats what training and sparring are for, as for the hard kicks/punches, it depends what u have, i had muy thai and at the start the only strong 1 u have is the muy thai knees durin the clinch but if u go to the camp activities you do moves to get points and when u do 15 your muy thai goes up to level 2 and you unlock a strong kick, and then that jumpin knee.

Wrestling =/= MMA. You don't get guillotined in wrestling. You obviously WOULDN'T shoot better than most MMA's since you'd end up getting guillotined. That's the easiest defense to a shoot where the guy's head is down. I don't know how you position your head in wrestling in a shoot, but every MMA instructor I've ever run into has said to keep the head up, and if you actually watch MMA that's what the pros do too.

you do know you have to attend the clinics to get better stats and better striking.....there are different levels to the striking and what ever grappling you choose.....

thats what training and sparring are for, as for the hard kicks/punches, it depends what u have, i had muy thai and at the start the only strong 1 u have is the muy thai knees durin the clinch but if u go to the camp activities you do moves to get points and when u do 15 your muy thai goes up to level 2 and you unlock a strong kick, and then that jumpin knee.

Why does the timer in the game run so fast??? I would think they would want to make them actual 5-minute rounds. I thought their whole goal was to make the game just like the real thing. Even the Octagon Girls are in it!
