Beautiful hymn but I'd like to hear it clearer... A group called Savae Vocal Ensemble has a good recording of it, you can find it on Google (Rhapsody). This has got to be one of the most beautiful hymns though, the video doesn't do it justice.
Bravo to the music director who chose this extremely obscure but glorious bit of music. Would have been nice to see it used to accompany a procession, instead of done concert style. This is a processional hymn written in Peru in the early 17th century -- possibly the earliest polyphonic music composed in the New World. The words are in the Quechua language. For a gorgeous professional recording, check out Jordi Savall's album titled "Villancicos y Danzas Criollas."
Brisbane Concert Choir has now released its own CD titled "Radiance" featuring this piece as the oprning track. It is available for sale to anywhere in the world. The link is in the box at top right. Click on more info for details.
I am very happy to hear the big drum in this version - it is, after all, an intrada, made to be walked to in a stately and formal fashion.

Impresionante!!!!!.
