this was an alternate reality - last episode, season 1

@auron130 this was in altered reality. Henry changed/altered reality by going back in the past and saving his dead lost love, by preventing her death. Of course things started breaking apart in the universe and Carter had fix it, by going back into time to stop Henry from altering the past. In the end everything was put back into order, and the only person who remembered the alternate universe where Carter was married w/ children to Allison was 'Carter'. It was a great/sad episode.
