  • Is this a failed implosion? It looks like the back right building didn't fall. Was it supposed to?

  • they should of vaccum the place before blowing it up lol

  • Haha, this is a video of a building demolition and we get crackerheads talking about conspiracy theories regarding the WTC...unbelievable! get a girfriend you losers!

  • that was teh sshit

  • dammm

  • woodwards was the only place that had toys opened with batteries for kids to try out.

    "1.49" day I miss you

  • It was a great old place to shop.

  • Until it went bankrupt in 1993.

    William.

  • hah i worked there ..i headed the 3 seperations you see =)

  • i watched that demolition from the top of harbour center

  • It was Larry "Pull It" Silverstein he made billions off insurance.

Paid off his elite buddies to allow the attacks to continue. Had explosives put in a week before the attacks. God will deal with Larry when his time comes. God will deal with all involved!

Can't take your money with you Larry "Pull it".

  • @manatarms79 Your god sucks. Your theory is baseless. Go read a fucking book and grow up.

  • cool

  • study the pyroclastic density current...

  • good clean pull. just like building 7 in NYC

  • STORM your nuts!!! In case you had your speakers turned down, you can hear LOUD explosions like crazy before anything even collapses on these buildings yet how then was WTC7 quiet then? Never heard of a silent controlled demolition think about it. Try find one video that you can hear about 50 explosive charges going off before WTC7 collapses then say "just like building 7"

  • the detonation on building seven was done on an active structure. the charges were under the ground unlike this demolition. you could hear loud thuds just before it went and it is documented. how does a fire drop a building in 7 seconds? you are the nutcase who is brainwashed.

  • haha soon as you bring up brainwashing you illigitimise yourself but WTC 7 went down not by fire by by structual damage.

  • how did building seven incur its structural damage? no plane hit it. debris from the other towers could not have caused enough damage to compromise the heavily fortified steel and cement structure.

  • says who?? firemen knew it had enough damage which is why they said before it collapsed that it would. Unless youd rather trust the word of that professor jones guy.

  • you aren't answering the question. i trust my friends who were working as fire fighters on that day in that location. so, what caused the structural damage? a fire surly couldn't take down a fortified government building. this wasnt your average building. i am open to all information given so long as it has a logical scientific backing.

  • There wasn't just a fire. WTC is compared with other buildings that caught fire not going down which is apples and oranges. WTC took a hard hit before catching fire which questions the structural integrity. The building was indeed designed for a boeing 707 impact at fog speeds, but this was a larger plane traveling much faster. Continuing...

  • Then considering the heat with metals under stress. Not just any stress. The remaining structure now has added stress and torque in random areas which softens with heat. 2k degrees Fahrenheit is what is needed to soften the metals enough to question structural integrity further and there were recorded temperatures of 1733 degrees F. - pretty close. Continuing...

  • These numbers come from "Loose Change (full version)" btw, and you can look it up here at youtube. I've also seen a documentary about the WTC on TV that pointed out how the construction of the WTC was unique. Unique in the way that the center core and outside walls supported the weight. This is different to say, the Empire State building which survived a plane impact (smaller plane, slower speeds).

  • If you take out a section of the outside wall of the WTC, what is there to support the weight between the center and the outside? Nothing... just added torque forces on the already damage center core. There are a few videos looking right at the damage section as the buildings fell. If you notice, as it starts to fall, the first thing that happens is the remaining supports on the outside wall bend inward indicating its failure under the increased pressure.

  • thanks for your information. however, i was talking about building seven. it was never hit by an airplane. if you have any data that pertains to it. please inform me as it is hard to get any logical explanation for why this heavily fortified building went down from debris carried over from the twin towers. thanks!

  • To be honest, I don't know much about building 7. All I know is that several buildings were damaged when the WTC fell and apparently building 7 was damaged critically. I guess it makes sense when you think of all the energy of those heavy materials falling 110 floors. My guess is that critical structure supports were taken out from the falling debris.

  • However the offical report of building 7 does not include that kind of damage... only fire. We'd have to find out what materials caught fire in building 7. The only way is if whatever materials caught fire where hot enough to weaken the steal that much.

  • Of course my guesses are giving everyone the benefit of the doubt. There are a lot of conspiracy theories out there and a youtube search of "WTC7, Professor Jones & Thermite" has a professor talk about building 7 and the use of thermite. Of course no one is denying nor confirming this information but it seems a bit hard to swallow this whole thing being one big conspiracy.

  • this is supposed to be the "revitalization" of vancouver's downtown eastside?

  • it could have been if they loaded up the building with drug addicts before they blew it up...

  • @vancouverbman Or right wing politicians, and bank and oil co. ceo's.

  • Great footage, cool deal, sad as it may be, its amazing we can control demolish a building like that.

  • No wonder why Woodward's wasn't there last time I was in Vancouver! They imploded it.

  • Kinda sad. My mom used to shop at Woodward's, maybe back when I was a tot.

  • i used to shop there too...the food floor was awesome....then the crackheads took over..

  • why the fuck do you think.

  • cool

  • The car alarm at the end was funny

  • Very expert demolition! Beautiful!

  • yeah, great footage. I remember i went to a protest once with my mum and we ended up helping the squatters break into it. me and my sister set up lighting and all that for them. It was great. I hope they made good use of it

  • Vancouver needs more social housing.

  • haha, car alarms, awesome.

  • Did that loudspeaker say... PULL ?

  • Yeah... It's the word they use for "demolish".

  • great footage. thanks for sharing it, was very curious to see how it happened.
