  • I dont know how this happens but my Celeron can at some time, fail (stop buffering and very slow) when watching 1080p videos on youtube. this doesn't happen when using over website to watch in 1080p please can you reply on how i can fix this Specs: Intel Celeron 4GB of Ram Nvidia GT 545 DDR3 1GB 1TB HDD Windows 7 Home Premium using Google Chrome This PC is NOT Custom Built
  • 720p is 100% smooth in Firefox on my Pentium D 3ghz system, 1080p is not only choppy but almost makes my browser unresponsive.

  • wanted to buy the beatifull hp dm3...........no more XD

  • core 2 duo FTW

  • will the Intel Pentium ULV Prozessor SU4100 (1.3 GHz), Dual-Core 1810tz beat 1080p?

  • so is there any upgrade for this netbook so that it will play smooth 1080p videos on youtube?

  • @KlTAPUKE Yes, download Flash 10.1. It's still in Beta but it's working pretty well at the moment.

  • @KlTAPUKE yh get a better laptop.. like mine its got a full hd led lcd screen hdmi out-put its a acer 5551 best laptop i have ever owned

  • my acer ferrari one 11.6 netbook can play 1080p hd smoothly

  • yeah its your computer. @ Lance, I just watched one of YOUR 1080p videos and it worked fine...

  • Celeron processors are invading the computer fleet. they suck, cant get a new coputer wthout that fucking celeron processor

  • There should Intel Highend, and AMD midrange-lowrange, cause even their Sempron chips are better than celeron! Well now they have their Athlons for budget.

  • 720p is unwatchable... what makes them think 1080p will run BETTER?!?!

  • @LanceCampeau 720 is fine. you must have a shit computer...

  • you know.. it used to run okay... i think its the adobe flash plugin... all of a sudden about 6 months ago... choppy as hell... i've tried EVERYTHING to fix it. nothing works.

  • try uninstalling the flash plugin and reinstalling it, worked for me :>

  • @LanceCampeau it plays perfect for me just get a new damn computer and stop complaining. ty

  • how much cost???

  • low frame rate ,your image notebook

  • can u do a test with "restaurant city" on facebook~XD

  • you should try the new flash

  • Already have. I'll link it to this video. Thanks for reminding me.

  • Question, what power profile was used? If using power saving or balanced, does switching to high performance improve anything?

  • I've tried both power saving and balanced (default) previously with 720P video and there was no difference. It's on balanced mode here (default out of the box).

  • 10.1, wherefore art thou? Even the lowly GMA X4500MHD could render smooth 1080p video if it could kick in.

  • @Doggonit even my x3100 with a 2.0ghz core 2 duo can render 1080p surprisingly

  • I wish they could just skip Flash and go all HTLM5, wow that runs just so much smoother vs effing flash.

  • We have to wait for flash 10.1 as it supposed to enable intel graphics acceleration (amd and nvidia too).

    But how long...that's the question...

  • Flash player 10.1 beta is available

    I'm using it ATM.

If you have an Nvidia card go to the website and download the 195.55 beta drivers, I don't know about ATI though.

  • Yeah I should mention desktop specs, because nobody can read my mind:

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 (2.8GHz)

    7200RPM HDD

It's more than enough, it's just the crappy implementation of YouTube playback.

  • well, hat kinda pc do you have? i mean if it has 1.6ghz than its logic it worn runsmooth
