  • There are 2 types of audiophiles: The ones who spend 10's of thousands of dollars on equipment and think it sounds good, and the type who can scrounge up a vintage system, get a blown speaker box, put new speakers in them, and make them sound better than the thousand dollar systems! Not saying expensive systems are crap, but I'd rather get one for a good deal.

  • None of this equipment is close to being audiophile, just consumer stuff at best. Also real audiophiles done use receivers btw

  • @lyokofans Audiophiles are peopple who spend money in useless things, such as very expensive cables and all of things that they think improve de sound, with any idea of eltrectronics, they hate digital sound, and play very old records in expensive turntables... An audiophile is not a person who knows electroacoustics is a man who has a lot of money... that's all...

  • @rubendario2779 Clearly you know nothing about high end sound. When you actually hear something nice let me know.

  • @lyokofans High end is a fake!

  • @lyokofans High end??? what is this? I'm an electronic engineer I'm not a man who expend money in useless things, such as wires or expensive thhings... Again I'm an engineer!!! Who are you???

  • @rubendario2779 Well that explains it another clueless engineer who knows nothing about anything other than theory. Like I said when you hear something nice let me know otherwise quit wasting your time.

  • @lyokofans To know electronics is good or bad? Tell me... And anythig I say couldn't change your point of view and any thing you say couldn't change mine, I don't know what did you mean when you say somethine nice? Nice music? nice sound?, the quality sound is not "nice ", it is measured with technical parameters good frequency response, signal to noise ratio eTc.. Anyway it's just me an engineer. And who designed al the electronics, apmplifiers and the speakers you have? AN ENGINEER!

  • @lyokofans And thisis the last time I waste my time answering to you

  • @rubendario2779 Whatever...

  • lol!

  • Oh, please! A fucking PC plugged into a 5.1 receiver are not "non-mass-produced high-end audio electronics". Pop up a couple of mono tube amps on each channel of a belt driven turntable that is twice as expensive as your car when it was new, and maybe then you can call yourself a fucking audiophile my friend.

  • 18 Hz? A human can only hear up to 20 Hz.

  • Hi. Where did the trinidad reference come from sir? Are u trini or living there? Nice system.

  • 5000 was over exaggerating. just like this guy's video. "18 hertz" from that subwoofer, give me a break. 18 hertz is not even audioable.

  • Jed You must have your surround sound system in your loft were the acoustic vibration travels though your wood floors given you the illusion of lower frequency higher quality vibrations. I can build to speakers that will be equivalent to his surround sound. and by the looks of it,he's invested probably over 5000 dollars in stereo equipment, amplifiers and line conditioners. waste of money. my two speakers can be ran off of a basic $800 receiver and without any expensive subwoofers or amplifiers

  • By listening to your voice I can tell your room has poor acoustics. So many people boast about their expensive gear but what they actually listen to is just a nasty mixture of resonances and echoes.

  • No te degrades diciendo que eres audiófilo... los audiófilos son crédulos que compra un montón de tonterías sin un minimo conocimiento de electrónica...

  • Blow your money away just because you are idiot

  • Sorry dude but you look like geek to me, not like Audiophile.

Neither your gear is close to audiophile.More like entry mid-fi, far from hi-fi.

You look to me more like poser who showing how long stick you have, not showing us your gramophone or cd- vinyl collection.

  • after u said ogg you lost me, a good format is in a Super Audio CD

  • Your definition of an audiophile is not accurate its your opinion.

  • @bcdhifi so if his defininition of an audiophile is not accurate, and it's his opinion, neither is yours.

  • @themasterofmovies I didn't state the definition and it is not a matter of opinion. A audiophile is one who peruses the most accurate natural representation of music through electronic equipment. Byminotti's definition is to exclusive.

  • @bcdhifi An audiophile, from Latin audio "I hear" and Greek philos "loving," is a hobbyist who seeks high-quality audio reproduction via the use of specialized high-end audio electronics. This can be as close to the live performance as possible or to measure up to the standards of the individual who owns the equipment. While often trying to be as close to the live performance as possible, it can also be simply to please a very well trained ear.

  • @themasterofmovies Yeah, a very well trained ear! This is not true, this is the biggest lie in the hi end audio, you need a very well trained ear to hear de difference in the very expensive equipment that audiophiles buy... ja ja ja. There is a test between a Mcintosh amplifier (very expensive), and a non expensive amplifier, both with the same speakers, most of the peopple said that the best was the non expensive equipment, so hi end audio is a fake!!!

  • @rubendario2779 thats because to bring out the full potential of the Mcintosh amp, you also need better speakers.

  • @themasterofmovies Better speakers... yes! But cables and power conditioners???? That's a fake!

  • @rubendario2779 Mostly yes. A $30 cable is better than a $2 cable but a $500 cable is not better than a $30 cable. Not sure about power conditioners. Audio equipment is very sensitive and the power in the wall is really dirty. In theory cleaner power would produce better sound, but i'm not sure if it actually does.

  • @themasterofmovies You are mostly correct it really depends if you are talking retail or specialized cables. A lot of it is chasing thin air, but if you know what you are buying and do your research you can build a really nice system on the cheap.

  • JAJAJAJA

    :(

  • One or two drinks can make a £500 system sound like £5000. My advice is to spend that £4500 on beer & wine :)

  • For all the beats fanboy who watch this video, now you know that audiophiles don't use beats. Hope dre and loving sees this vid

  • ogg is not lossless yo!

  • I like that you say that you are an audiophile.. Then i dont know what i would call my self, your system compared to mine..

I live for my music, and every month i am trying some new products to compare with others.

The HK amp says it all.

Sorry but it is all mainstream talk, and your products are not near high end, you JUST have a surround system, nothing more..

  • @qweghk Yeah the guy is not an audiophile... Audiophiles are peopple who spend money in useless things, such as very epensive cables with any idea of electroacoustics...

  • It stuff is shit u need a velodyne subb and b&w sanus faber or mcintosh speakers and krell components and transparent cables and ur headphones suck 2 u need a pair of headphones from grado the sp1000 about 1,700 better thn senheisr

  • @MrMobsta55 Is this shit?? Ok you know names and brands, bravo! But that is just prestige talking and mainstream stuff for guys with to much money. Real audiophile know a lot more then the usual wellknown brands. Some audiophiles even believes that Santa will come out of the system if they add 2000 € for the same amp... The brands you mentioned plays great, no doubt, but everybody has to start somewhere. Minotti isn't audiophile yet, but he will cetrainly get there later. Yet decent stuff !!

  • @MrMobsta55 lol, you're a vagina

  • @MrMobsta55 Another one who believes that the cables makes a difference in audio... ja ja ja, Do you know something about transmission lines? do your homework and find out what are the effects in the cables in audio frequency, the effects are only present in radio frequency...

  • can you mention where in long island you purchased these speakers.wanted a pair for years.

  • Please tell me of some of your favorite songs

  • which have a superior sound quality? a mastering studio or a high end audiophile room?

  • @izaatmusic At high levels like that it's hard to really define what audio quality is. Is it how clear the sound is? Then you don't need huge speakers. Some would even say that how "phat your bass" is defines your audio quality.

I guess probably an audiophile room though, they tend to waste money on shit you really don't need, a mastering room won't.

  • wow nice setup dude. Is it you in the video or did you take it from someone?

I have the Sennheiser HD 600 headphones and they are great.

Pioneer speakers but not any good version.

Im prob like you when it comes to the audioquality, though I can't hear any difference between flac and .wav, only the extra noise that comes with at liverecordings.

What kind of music are you into?
