  • I'm JUST getting really started with machine, and finally serious and have time to do some real production with it, but still have to learn more basics, and some tricks. I need some great tutorial videos for machine & Ableton. Blessings my friend! I have some big things going on for 2012, have a new magazine and social networking site coming ANY DAY NOW! I'm about to do a test run this weekend, I'll keep you informed, I'll inbox you on FB. Peace, glad to see you man.

  • Tasherre Whats been going on man, Wow it's been a long time since I last saw you brother. This is Pastor Donald Garner, we met when you worked at the southfield store of the guitar center, then the last time I saw you you had moved to the store off southfield Freeway. Glad to see you're still doing your thing man. We'll talk soon, I'll add you tonight on facebook.

  • i have an important question. im new on the maschine, just wanted to know do you always use the same bars, or is it possible to have a sample at 4 bars...and then have a 1 bar loop to match it, im trying to sample somthing thats aproximatly 10 seconds long....but it seems to not match my drum patterns in sync?

  • @bambamltd That's more of a technique thing. If you're trying to make a "loop" fit into a particular pattern, you need to chop and replay it. Peep the video I did "Sampling from CPU", that'll help you out.

  • @tasherredenajetic Scratch that, its the "Samples, Filtered Basslines & Group Arranging" video.

  • yeah..that beat is hot. had to put it up on FB. lots of inspiration. oh yeah, the bassline is KRAZY!!!

  • @sincere1 Thanx man, much appreciated.

  • ah yeh we gettin closer to that scenes tutorial

  • @flossdakid I'll do my best to have it this week.

  • how'd u get the hats to sound off beat like that? what swing settings you apply? nice work!!!

  • @ocmizzle i'm not necessarily sure that they're off beat. i'm sure it sounds that way because of how the kick and snare hit. Not the norm.

  • Such a boss with those perfectly spaced high hats on the first try. Subbed!

  • @hytanon haha, thank you.

  • @ThatFellaNana Thanks man, I appreciate that.

  • I have a question man. Is there a setting that gets your notes like perfectly on beat? every time i try and make something it never seems to fill into the grid perfectly like that.

  • @ThatFliWhiteGuy hold down the GRID button and turn the first knob, which sets the quantize, to "record"

  • @mcsg27 @ThatFliWhiteGuy Yeah, what he said. Honestly, I really don't do a lot of quantizing to my beats. After years of practice I know how to hit the pads and get the grooves I want. Nothing wrong with it, I just like doing it on my own.

  • @tasherredenajetic @mcsg27 Thanks a lot for the tip. I'm gonna look at that soon.

  • Great video amigo - guys like you, Knock and St Joe inspired me to get the maschine - so much fun but you guys make it look too easy ;-) Keep the maschine vids coming man.........big up from UK!

  • @djandyg Wow, you got me amongst good company. I'm honored.

  • It looks so easy when you create such a great track on maschine...yeah, I am so damn envious. :D

  • @Pate2 haha, no need to be envious. I do appreciate the love though.

  • NICE!

  • @goebel1493 And thank you also!

  • ooooh! LIKE :)

  • @whoryanp Thank you.

  • yesssssssssss, groove is sick bro Ci, Notice, BEHOLD lol!!

  • @SoundsAndGear Thank you sir. Trying to catch up to you and Knock.

  • @tasherredenajetic ha, nothing to catch up with brother, just keep doing what ya do!

  • yo! nice breakdown sir! one question, how do you add bass on to your track? i dun hv a keyboard, but i've seen people ( and you) add in bassline by using just the maschine. i couldnt find the right way of doing it, could you kindly help me out on this one?

    Cheers

    E

  • @elphickwo its actually pretty simple. Load a bass or any other instrument to a pad then put the controller into Keyboard Mode. I'll do a video to show you how its done. Subscribe if you haven't already. It'll be the next video I post. And Thank You BTW!

  • @tasherredenajetic thanks for the tips man! gna try it out tonite, hopefully can figure out. if not, its very grateful of youto make a tutorial for us fam!

  • @elphickwo Did you peep the vid? I posted it earlier today.

  • @tasherredenajetic nice. i got it right the first time.haha

  • nicely done sir...don't be so shy with that little Maschine zoom in the corner ; )

  • @mcsg27 Thanx Matt, I'm still trying to get used to Camtasia. Plus I didn't want to cover up the activity in the piano line.

  • @tasherredenajetic put it in the arrangement window - ur not using that in the video

  • YOOOO I LOVE this joint man !!! And at 2:01 when that bass come in ...WHEW ! 6 Stars bro. I kicked a hole past the 5 star rating ! Man !

  • @KnockSquared Haha, thanx fam. Glad you liked it.
