No. The cat is agitated because he can't take a nap with this crying kid. Notice how he almost bits the baby out of frustration. Even the nicest of cats can be unpredictable at times. Some times they use their claws when they are agitated. I personally would never have let my cats paw get that close to my babies eyes.
