sitting bull falls is one of my family's fav places. my husband and children are avid spelunkers so special permits where obtained to go way up in the caves behind the waterfall. i LOVE sitting in the cold pools while they are caving. :) do you live near by?
I've been to Sitting Bull Falls, and it is as beautiful as I remember it. The water is ice cold no matter how hot it is that day! I see yall hiked instead of taking the stairs. Not a lot of people are adventurous enough to take the long way. They usually use the stairs provided near the parking lot. =)
Wow, when I lived there no permit was needed for the cave, but it probably does help protect it from additional damage.

I haven't been there since I was 14 like 30+ years ago...Requirements are needed to go into the cave thses days??
