THat is my old bike. I bought off a guy in Lakeview OH. I kept it about 4 years and then sold it in Cary. I know it's mine because of a couple of things. The chain guard is painted satin black, it was chrome but it was rusty so I sanded it down and painted it satin black. Also the stainless allen bolts on the engine, the last number in the odometer never quite lines ip properly. Top speed on 440 or I 40 was about 70-75mph. One other way I know it is my old one is the huge rear tire.
Very nice bike, had a similar A model with flat ace bars when I was 17, I would love to have one again. You also got some great traffic free roads there..
Dude, I think that is my old GT185. I sold it to some guy in Cary a few years back, he didn't keep it very long. He sold it and got an RD350 and now he has an RD400 I have a GT380 now. Did you buy it off a guy in Cary? I am sure that is it.
Hi, I own a suzuki gt 185 from 1977 exaty same as yours, though urs is in very good condition as i can see. Listen Im thinking about changing my tire sizes. Yours seem big and about the size I wanna put. What tyre sizes do you have on front and rear? if you could please reply I really would appreciate! cheers and congrats on the lovely bike!

Oh and the plate that is on top of the ram air is black, same paint as the chain guard. They were also normally chrome.
