it's an imposible to clean jewell...magnificent to see, but to live here? not for me. Some ideas are interesting, such as letting the sunshine in through different shapes and colours, but the vid shows no windows to be open to let the air in, for instance...having some veggies grow aruond the kitchen area could be a plus, but having lawn to mow indoors? again, not for me.

This is so beautiful. Imagine it as an outdoor garden room. One you can relax in, even in bad weather! Maybe have a few tiny bantam chickens or song birds in there. Maybe a small pond with waterfall, too!

@OurFadedGarden It is built in a dry invoroment, and the house has hygroskopical abilities. It works like an this: During the day the house gets solar heated and this collected heat in the walls will radiate the rooms during night.

This house will only be useable near equator where there are many sun-days per year.

this building is indeed an eye candy, but as an architecture student I can tell you that this space has a lot of dysfunctional corners and unused space. Using fluid lines in interior is very beautiful but using it wrong can cause such problems. I assume this was built as an art piece rather than a functional residential house.

@Namini11 , it is your opinion and I respect it. for me, an ideal house is a simple house with a lot of light and less furniture... so... we have different visions about functionality!

@Namini11 Yeah I would rather have the sweet art house myself especially if it had a nice basement. Trust me you will fail and just be another joe schmo architect if you just stick with conventional right now. The housing movement is just starting to change. I bet by the time you graduate people will be demanding more rustic artistic and ecologically sound homes. Focus on cob, straw, other ancient techniques and new techniques if you want to get ahead.

@Namini11 An adobe house is just more homey and earthy plus they have proven to last over 300 years when built correctly. How long does a conventional house last before restoration. maximum of 30 years in a good scenario!

After seeing this I'm more perplexed than ever. Square and rectangular forms do not exist (or in very exceptional cases) in the nature, however the mankind has based most of its architecture on harsh, unnatural square forms. This is more relaxing!

Excelente composicion del arquitecto, tuve la fortuna de conocerlo hace unos cuantos meses en una conferencia que dio en nuestra universidad y despues de charlar con el en una cena, es una pena ver que gente de otros paises aprecien esta arquitectura y nosotros que la tenemos presente no lo hagamos, y por los que lo hacemos muchas felicidades! y a generar buena arquitectura! saludos! gracias por el video!

@farnooshf I can't believe the crap we live in with this possible. I'm getting ready to sculpt my own house. I'm a 55 yr old woman and a little disabled, but I know I can do better than the builders in the area. Going for a hybrid of earth bag and cob. I live on the edge of 1.10 million acres of wilderness in MT so I'm sure I can find interesting organic materials to create some home art with, not to mention recycled. I'm going to try to buy almost nothing.
