I loved the Karate Kid remake with Will Smith's son Jaden. Karate Kid was a classic and I didn't think they could pull of anything comparable but I felt that they did. It was a unique movie with elements that made the original great. Maybe they could do that for The Last Dragon. I wonder who would play Bruce Leroy.

The only conceivable way to remake this movie is to not spend a single moment running away from the camp. You have to EMBRACE the camp, and turn the amp to 11. You have to take it on a prom date, and rent a limo. Samuel L. is a poor choice. Maybe fine about 2-4 years after Pulp Fiction, but dude is just too old now. Rhianna? Please. When does that get fun? No, there was only one way to go. Busta Rhymes and RuPaul. That way, or the highway. And it BETTER be filmed in BK (Brunswick?).

While it's true that this film has its weak points and many detractors, one thing can not be disputed: Bruce Leroy attaining the glow and delivering an epic beatdown to Sho'Nuff is FUCKING BADASS!
Oh god don't remake this. It was cool because it was so damned cheesy. They try and remake it and they'll try to make it serious which will seriously blow. Trying to redo cheese doesn't work either. This is cool because it is the quintesential 80's martial art cheese. A remake will truly blow. As for letting Sisquo' i doubt he can do any fighting that doesn't involve a ps2 controller and a copy of one of those lousy rap fight games.

@cloverfield00 I really feel they shouldn't remake this movie, but if they are going to do it, I think Lupe fiasco would be a good Leroy. He's dorky, and I read he had a black belt too. Pharell could also play his role,but I don't think he has any martial arts experience. I know Tamaik is too old to play Leroy again, and it really would not feel like a remake it he were in it. Lol

Oh god don't remake this. It was cool because it was so damned cheesy. They try and remake it and they'll try to make it serious which will seriously blow. Trying to redo cheese doesn't work either. This is cool because it is the quintesential 80's martial art cheese. A remake will truly blow. As for letting Sisquo' i doubt he can do any fighting that doesn't involve a ps2 controller and a copy of one of those lousy rap fight games.
