@CosmicRevolutionKS I have a small garden, and I do apply information I've learnt from Biodynamic permaculture as taught by Rudolph Steiner ... also, have you read the Anastasia/Ringing Cedars books? A lot of it covers spiritual permaculture ... I apply those ideas too - truly amazing work. Organic, mineralisation, loving and caring for Mother Earth ... putting back, not taking ...
GAIA'S GARDEN? there is another approach, GAIA LIBERATION FRONT (might be just a bit extreme for you though... check it out, they have some good points anyway... i was exchanging snail mail with GEOPHILUS of GLF before the internet really got going...
I went 11 years without a car and i'm always looking at bike set ups, couldn't help but notice the bike behind you... i just emptied a detergent container like that - but with suspension in front i can't set up racks
don't let them take too much of that nebraska corn for cars - and i'd argue far less of it should go to cows also, being a vegan
permaculture, nice... i've heard of it but never really learned, THANKS!... rotating crops is important!... i WISH i would spend more money on organic
Yea the kitty litter buckets work well in the back, and yes i strive to produce all my food locally in the next couple years, and permaculture is the way to do it! have a happy thursday
Right on! We have the desire, the technology and the complete capacity to empower ourselves and live in peaceful abundance with the earth. This is the only future that makes sense, and so it is, step by step, swelling slowly from the bottom up...
i agree with the comments saying we gotta resist the dominant culture.
but creating a viable alternative is important too. it disproves the people who just wanna say 'it's too hard, it can't be done.'
i love how this guy delivers his message, cause it's just common sense and happy not all pissed off or 'anti' anything - it's all positive and about leaning something new.
I think what you are doing is cool, but do you really think that the dominant culture, if sufficiently threatened, will allow the alternatives to continue operating?
i don't know necessarily, but I believe the "resistance" doesn't do much, except get us and the cops very angry. And as far as destroying infrastructure, why would someone destroy a grocery store, if they haven't started growing all of their own food. And also, it just feels right to start building new culture, than to try to destroy this one, and in "walking away" we are weakening the culture of make believe, so that others will stop believing in it as well.I feel your struggle

How truly fantastic to see a young person get into Permaculture and genuinely care about the planet. That is just heart warming stuff.
As for me, I'm just getting into this and have got a lot to learn.
