  • That is awesome! My wife is a teacher and she has the new promenthean board in her classroom but I think yours is better than that. I have been trying to make one of these for a few months but I cannot figure out how to place my mirror so the image from the projector is not distorted. I am doing rear projection like your but this mirror problem has me baffled. Any advice?

  • @vpleric simply , the projector has the option look ... or some mor simple try with a cheap mirror in some angle fornt the projector and doit, too you can use the free software virtualdub an use the filter mirroring horizontal

  • Great Job. At wwwdotirgreatdotcom we make professional IR pens for the classroom. We are also making rear projections screens for the classroom at a reasonable cost.

  • how about mouse 2?

  • Any chance you could use some acrylic sheet or something behind the screen material in order to provide a hard writing surface?

  • @jammin0 My original plan was to put acrylic in front of the screen material, however since I don't push on the material to actually "touch" the screen, (I click the button on the pen) the investment was not worth the money, for my use. But i think it would work fine.

  • This is amazing. thanks for the mention. We would love to learn more about how you did this.

  • @jackiehsu97 the song is Boston by augustana

  • May I ask where your WII remote was positioned?

  • @jackiehsu97 The wiimote was placed behind the screen on top of the projector.

  • @tebteach And what's the name of the song?

  • What is the song called ?

  • is = the rosco grey or rosebrand rear projectior screen?...in this project is the same?...thanks...

  • @cuerdasgraves yes they are the same.

  • cool

  • really cool! have you ever thoutgh about a IR pen that activate when you push it? (it would only works on ward surface, like a wall) so you dont need to push the button. (sry for my bad englsih)

  • great Job, now if only I had the space in my classroom to do rear projection

  • First of all, really cool video. Johnny Lee's projects look really fun, but in Israel, a Wiimote costs what would be 92-100 bucks! yeah! anyway, I think it was REALLY clever to use rear projection cause then, the only shadow is going to be behind you. I have one question though, from what I read in wikipedia, and if I got it right, they used to use the rear projection for the purpose people mostly use green screens for, but it would appear washed out. How did you get it to be that clear? five★

  • omg omg omg thank you for this video!!!! I've gotten the software to work but only using an IR LED hooked up to a battery. I've been trying to find a large enough casing for it an never thought of an Expo marker!!! duh, how could I have missed tht. I've tried sharpies, bic pins, etc, all too small and clumsy to use. but the expo marker is brilliant thank you!

  • What software are you using for communication between the wii remote and the computer?

  • What paint program is that you're using? haha probably not the type of question you'd expect, but i can't figure out what program it is. Please let me know. Thanks

  • Ya i have had others ask me that in the past. It is Sketchbook Pro.

  • I just need to find out a way to get a cheap

    projector :D

Thinkin' bout making one with and LCD screen and an overhead but it will be sketchy.

  • what is the song plz

  • That's the best looking board I have seen. Great job! I want to do the same thing in my classroom. How did you make the screen? What exactly did you use from Rose Brand? Thanks.

  • I wish I had one
