  • This song gives me a new and deeper appreciation for HP Lovecraft's "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward". Lovecraft headbangs to Nile in Neter-Khertet. Nile RULES.

  • Slurping drinks is the most disgusting thing you can do with a liquid. People who slurp should learn to improve their manners.

  • @tuberesu people who tell people how to behave should learn how to remove the stick out of their asses. This would include me too, but i put the stick right back, 'cause of all the nerv endings, you know...

  • @HandofMisery or...

"He is human, he is human IT'S SPECIAL!"

  • Badass song, lyrics is good too :D

  • if you ever get searched by the police and they find white powder and ask you to explain it whatever you do DONT tell them the white powder contains the essential salts of the man whose corpse was boiled. just make something up like say its cocaine or something. trust me you can get into a whole heap of s**t with the law if they suspect you are boiling corpses.

  • @cthulhu11111111 sir, you are funny.

  • I like how the lyrics are like a documentary lol

  • I know people have already pointed this out, but this song is based on a chapter in Donald Tyson's "translation" of the Necronomicon, probably the one that's closest to the book as H.P. Lovecraft wrote about it.

  • Dude Devourment is Brutal Slam Metal lol but yes Babykiller is the shit

  • I dunno what it is about this particular tune, but for me, it stands out above all other NILE songs.

  • j mascis

  • I tried to play this song on drums. I needed reconstructive surgery in all three of my arms.

  • @MyBandNameWasTaken and legs too lol

  • @MyBandNameWasTaken that comment made my week

  • you bitches do realize there are more of us metal heads in the underground better watch out, if your not into this your a waste of life fuck the mainstream talentless fucks

  • SHIT FLIES EVERYWHERE !!! I love this band !

  • wow it's like the dummies guide to mummification.. bet some people saved money by not going to barnes & noble thanks nile lol

  • 2:43 is made of awesome

  • BEST LYRICS EVER ;)

  • The lyrics are like a discovery channel documentary or something, but the music is incredible. Somehow they make it match...

  • @ZiniNkenaki The lyrics are based on H.P.Lovecraft's novel The Case Of Charles Dexter Ward.

  • 83729 views??? 80000 are mine :P

  • True Fan ;)

  • One of the best Nile songs... may take heat for that, but, ... fuck you! :)

  • HAIL EGYPT!!!!!!!

  • Fuck yeah, i totally love Nile, its orgasmic how they use those Egiptian sound to make theyr music... NILE !!!

  • John Longstreth of Origin is still better.

    sorry George u failz horribly.

  • @drumstheo get some brains, a.s.a.p.

  • @drumstheo idk i wouldn't say that. its a pretty good battle between the two

  • I came here for a dietary advice but I found something much better! :D \m/

  • saw them back in '07 promoting this album. all i can say is HOLY fuck that shit was brutal. LONG LIVE NILE

  • This the song that made me fell in love with Nile. Especially the riff at about 1:00. If I ever see this performed live I can die happily.

  • @nuppe10

    They do. And its AMAZING!!!!!

  • can i just say that @giosmrbig id shut up with comments...

everyone seems to hate what your saying, and even if you are correct in what your saying about the guitars and drums (which your not as the drumming is technical as shit!) the screaming DOES take skill, trust me, its not easy to do it, and like so many people think that its just crap and anyone can do it, give it a shot or ask an average person to do it, and they cant

even rapping takes skill, not everyone can do it (not that rap's good)

  • this kinda like a necromancers manual lol

  • "If the salts are contaminated with the essence of other living beings

When the mummy has been the breeding place of vermin

The revitalization of the salts produces something

That is part man and part whatever gnawed his corpse" :3

  • Nile is so fuuuucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it's not MUSIC !!! good NOISE but not MUSIC !!

  • @giosmrbig you surely lack some musical education

  • the blessed dead and this song are simply outstanding, not saying that anything else made by almighty nile isnt a masterpiece by its own but merely underlining the fact that these two songs in my opinion are beyond perfect

  • I fucking love the solo at 2:42 !!

  • i think karl needs to buy a seven string

  • pprobably sting like a bitch

  • I swear If I hear one more damn comment about justin fucking Beiber,

Some cannibal corpse shit is about to go down

  • @Nandwar213 agree with you!! on every metal video (literally every metal video. from megadeth to therion and from nile to insomnium etc etc) i watch there's a comment about that kid!! fuck hell is just a kid and it seem to be a great cataclysm for those metalheads (if they are) who care about him, what can he do against 3 decades of metal, and even "against" is not the correct word, it's not a competition. If you like it FINE and if you don't FINE. that's it

  • @Nandwar213 ill joing brother lol

  • @Nandwar213 More like some Devourment shit.

  • @666CthulhuIsMyBitch Isn't devourment a deathcore band? I can't remember so excuse me if I'm wrong.

  • @arghydoodles

Yea your wrong... Its death metal, deathcore isnt brutal enough to make a song as brutal as baby killer. in my opinion is there best song.

  • @ApocalypticCarnage13 Hah, nice.

  • @Nandwar213 how about a chainsaw in her ass

  • @Nandwar213 and are they ever shit

  • i love nile! necrophagist is also very good, but in my opinion nile is way more atmospheric and if they want, they are even sicker at technical stuff, but you can hear, they make music pure for pleasure!!!

  • It took me a really long time to get into death metal. But once I was able to hear the melody in the chaos it became 10 million times better sounding.

  • one of the greatest outro riffs of all time

  • This song makes me fucking mad! :C

  • fk yah

  • It's not nesassarly how clever you are that makes you listen to it but the type of person you are that attracts you to it in the first place. Listening to death metal is not a reflection of intelligence but more a reflection of your personality. And through listening to it more you are more better able to comprehend all the technical stuff. Non metalheads don't listen to it because they arn't clever. More they just have different needs and therefore arn't attracted to it to begin with.

  • i love how it advertises nile hollidays at the bottom of the video, i would love to go on a holiday where all i did was listen to this

  • more specifically, this video "Stick control Jojo Mayer spiega la Moeller Tecnique"

  • wow. i hope it's just a bad quality upload. The guitar tone is horrendous.

  • 1:55 fucking love that drum part

  • I have the Necronomicon by Donald Tyson where Sanders took inspiration for these lyrics and I have to say both that chapter and this song kick ass.

I wish there were more awesome books like that Necronomicon so more metal bands can took inspiration from them to make even more badass stuff like this.

  • im not a big fan of this shit, but this is fuckin tight!!

  • there is no band in this world that sounds like or could even try to be like nile

anyone can do pop or dub step with pop all you do is write a peragraph and repeat it like five time and dub step is different pitches of bass ad random noises added in to make it sound "cool" there is very few good dub step song iv heard if you dont think this is molodic and just noise than you have no buisness listening to music

  • @giosmrbig That's because most metalheads are actually fairly clever, and we reject the mainstream pop or dubstep, favouring music more advanced/technical. It's definately not boring or just a 'noise.' It's crushing and IS melodic...

  • @PharaohJed

I'm a metalhead and I don't really like this song, can't stand voices like that and plus this band doesn't have very good instrumentals either IMO.

  • for me is just NOISE, but a like a lot drummers like derek roddy or kolias. this type of music for me is good only if you want to break you ear drum.

  • @giosmrbig You like George Kollias his drumming but you don't like his music ? what ?

For a lot of people this kind of genre is pure noise, but they don't take the time to listen to what is going on.

Listen to it a few times and try to really listen, or focus on one instrument everytime you play it. after a while it get's less chaotic.

  • @PharaohJed dubstep is mainstream now? oh lord

  • @PharaohJed The word "technical" gets thrown around so much that it's almost useless. Technical isn't so much what you play, but how you play it. From the guitar sounds I hear and the growling, it's not as technical as you think.

Also, technicality for technicality's sake is irrelevant in music and does not make it sound better. I've heard more technicality from jojo mayer and dennis chambers, whos hand speeds are equal to Kollias and can get very fast one-handed rolls. watch jojo's moeller.

  • @tcslick420 I love how you took your time to write 4 shitposts, and even in the 4 posts combined, I can't see the point you're trying to make. You don't like the guitar / growls, I take it?

  • @PharaohJed This isn't event hat technical. If you want "technical" and "melodic" (pointless terms btw) listen to dennis chambers, greg howe, and tetsuo sakurai (all in same band) play. At least his guitar is audible.

  • @PharaohJed or listen to some christian scott. I'm sorry, but there's mroe to music than blast beats and double bass, in EVERY SONG.

  • @PharaohJed i dont like it cause its advanced/technical.. i like it cause its motherfucking bangning/godlike/killa/alien/BIG thats why..

and, you dont kknow shit about dubstep

  • Metal is a pretty mainstream trend. Not to crush your world view or anything.

  • for me is pure shit. i love the great metal band with great singers, melodic guitar solo, and great drumming !! for me musical does not mean go with the metronome at 300 bps of speed !!!!

  • @giosmrbig we all care

  • @giosmrbig "For me"

It's you, not us. This is musical...even if you believe it or not.

  • @giosmrbig Not every song by these bands like Nile play super fast all the time. The music is dynamic and otherworldly, which is what keeps it interesting to us in the long run. Nile even do very slow songs and some of them are beautiful. To us, other bands sound boring because the patterns are predictable and easy to comprehend. It might be 'fun' and more 'happy' sounding but we get our enjoyment from something more agressive and challenging because it's just the way we are :).

  • hope to listen to something Slow and melodic...

  • @giosmrbig From Nile I would try Ruins. It's an album closer track so it's very simple and maybe repetitive but it does the job and is beautiful. Then I would try Sarcophagus. The last 2 minutes or so are very good especially. Then I would try Even the gods must die from this album Ithyphalic. It's a ten minute epic, very stirring. Also don't forget the intrumentals that Nile do like The Infinity of Stone, Hall of Saurian Entombment and the fan favourite, Die Rache Krieg Lied der Assyriche.

  • @giosmrbig If you don't like it then why do you keep coming back? Thats like saying you hate McDonalds then taking a bit out of a Big Mac.

  • i like a lot DEREK RODDY, but not this kind of music.

  • @giosmrbig Pfft!, derek roddy would be sweating his arse off by now!, kollias destroys him!.

  • it's not so important who is better, RODDY or KOLLIAS. they are both incredible and technical drummers. for me personally i don't like music when is fast and without melody, and i don't like singers who just shout. i like metal singers when they sing with melody and power, like ROB HALFORD or JAMES LABRIE. i don't say that all NILE music is without melody but lot of the songs for me are just fast and crazy and i don't like it.

  • @giosmrbig It's ok man. Perhaps Nile is more of a band to get into if your into death metal anyway. I actually find a lot of death metal boring myself but Nile I can listen to because of the Egyptian thing fascinated me. Also Morbid angel and a much lesser known band called Mithras have it to.

  • @PharaohJed Yes, yes, YES! "But it's just so angry!" "He's just yelling, there's no talent!" Are comments from people who obviously will NEVER be true musicians because they can't even understand the concept of where music should come from.

  • @person1259 Well i dunno, there is a lot of talent and skill in vocals like that and not stuffing up your vocal chords, i should know, my sister has the highest honour in Choir, my mother has natural verbrato in her voice.

  • @Aheadstix85 Oh, by no means am I saying they couldn't be talented musicians! I just think it's quite hypocritical to cast away a whole genre of music as "Talentless Screaming" as I so-often hear it to be called. I just think a real musician is one who can empathize with the emotion/drive of any music; and to credit Nile, these are some very talented ones. :)

  • @PharaohJed If you can't hear the melody in Niles music you are either retarded, deaf or a troll. They use more parallel fifths than classical music !

  • @harrymanbach Wow!, did not know that!.

  • @PharaohJed

Advanced/technical doesn't necessarily make music better. The simplest songs can evoke emotions, which I think is the most important aspect in music for me (the emotions).

I like this music though, although I tend to listen to electronic music a lot more. :P

  • @PharaohJed I know I'm being a dick, but what the hell is wrong with dubstep? Pop is a tag that refers to music made for the radio and to make money, but dubstep is just another genre.

  • @PharaohJed it is TRUE ART

  • @PharaohJed metal forever... death to the others

  • @PharaohJed Oh really? I listen to metal but I also like electronic music, especially dubstep. You make it seem as if metalheads can't also listen to dubstep and/or "mainstream pop".

  • @PharaohJed your a fucking idiot man yes pop music is overlistened to and metal is better but dubstep your an idiot metal and dubstep are best because of the variety go listen to the browning and tell me and wasnt the sickest shit ever

  • @ThattJusttHappenedd

Dubstep sounds all the same to me.

  • @Sxrillez Dubstep sounds all the same to you? Lol listen to Skream and then listen to Borgore. Listen to Martyn and then listen to Datsik.

  • @giosmrbig It's not because it's too hard for you to understand this kind of music that it's just a noise...Go listen your bieber shit and don't come here to bash actual musicians

  • @giosmrbig if you wana slop on my cock that might be more fun you little faggot

  • @giosmrbig I question your musical talents if you have a hard time figuring out what is going on in this song.

  • @giosmrbig thats cause you suck britney

  • @pittbullbill Nah, Britney sucked me....

  • @giosmrbig well you can also enjoy the musical masterminds like one lady gaga or the self proclaimed god of music kanye west who has the most genius song titles like ''Flashing Lights'' or ''Drunk and Hot girls''.... but in all seriousness just let people listen to what the wanna listen. i like slayer or The Stooges and someone els likes miley cyrus.... let people have their own idea of what is good or bad.

  • @giosmrbig ok just fuck you and go listen to your shit...we metalheads know what is music

  • @giosmrbig by not sucking justin beiber and the mainstream music companies' dicks

  • @giosmrbig If you try to listen the drum without the guitar and the voice ,probably your shiturself out :\

Ian paice it's an amazing drummer but cant compete with GEORGE KOLLIAS,only one master....

Was i was younger was really difficult to understand this type of music....but now...WATTEFUCK

  • @giosmrbig How do you listen to Justin Bieber. All I hear is a gay fag sweeking in a microphone.

  • @giosmrbig i suggest you go pay a visit to the infidel

  • @giosmrbig the only mystery here is how can you live with shit instead of brain....these music is tru ART ...instead the drags you listen...like justin bieber or lady gaga.....so, shut your fucking mouth, feel shame, and kill yourself....

  • @giosmrbig fuck off

  • @giosmrbig It might be too fast and technical for you to understand but metal musicians are the most talented musicians right now.

  • i don't say that musitian like DEREK RODDY are not taleted. Roddy is EXTREMELY TALENTED, but it's just the type of music that is not music for me. if you go with the metronome at 200 bpms tell me how can i appreciate that ? how can undestand just one word of the lyrics if you sing with no armony just screaming ? if you listen 1 hour of that type of music you'll have for sure an headache. i love good music. if NILE make a good piece of music i say that is good, if not sorry.

  • @giosmrbig Well you said it's just noise and "nothing musical" about it. I understand why people wouldn't enjoy this type of music, it's definitely not for everyone but that doesn't mean it's not music. I don't get how people listen to jazz or most pop music, r&b or country either but that seems to be pretty highly acclaimed by musicians. It's a matter of preference.

  • @giosmrbig Its called another form of music, you have the right to hate it, but its still music.... close minded people like you piss me off.

  • haha its like those rap songs where they teach you how to make crack, except this song teaches how to make zombies

  • the drumming...... my balls shrank

  • one of the best death metal bands of all time!

  • this song reminds me a of a lovecraft story...cant quite remember which one..
