Also, technicality for technicality's sake is irrelevant in music and does not make it sound better. I've heard more technicality from jojo mayer and dennis chambers, whos hand speeds are equal to Kollias and can get very fast one-handed rolls. watch jojo's moeller.

Nile even do very slow songs and some of them are beautiful. To us, other bands sound boring because the patterns are predictable and easy to comprehend. It might be 'fun' and more 'happy' sounding but we get our enjoyment from something more agressive and challenging because it's just the way we are :).

@giosmrbig From Nile I would try Ruins. It's an album closer track so it's very simple and maybe repetitive but it does the job and is beautiful. Then I would try Sarcophagus. The last 2 minutes or so are very good especially. Then I would try Even the gods must die from this album Ithyphalic. It's a ten minute epic, very stirring. Also don't forget the intrumentals that Nile do like The Infinity of Stone, Hall of Saurian Entombment and the fan favourite, Die Rache Krieg Lied der Assyriche.
