  • Thanks for the great comment! But sorry, don't know where you can find just an instrumental version of this....

  • omg i laughed my ass offf watching this vid! i love this song! hey, do you know where i can find the instrumental version of this song? i wanna sing it for an event, but it's in two days time! i hope you see this soon and thanks in advance!

  • If I kept my hair like your's I'd be bald.

  • This is really excellent!

Very rarely have I seen two people sing(lip sych) so well, and really get into the characters.

Also you play it (almost) straight, and don't camp it up too much which adds to the overall excellence of the performance.

I would willingly buy a DVD of your musical performances.

I look forward to seeing more!

  • ...'somewhere between forty, and death." LOL

  • @louswire "'somewhere between forty, and death."

It's the pregnant pause afterwards that really makes it. I remember listening to this 25 years ago, while jogging with my Walkman. I'd stop to hear what came next... even though I'd heard the "nothing audible" dozens of times before.

It's all in the looks you imagine between them.

  • LOL i never see the resemblance of angela and bea until i saw this . Golly they really look alike. Nice funny song

  • BRAVA! Great lip synch and performance! Very entertaining!

  • I thought that was the real Bea Arthur at first. may she rest in peace

  • Hysterical!

  • Really, really well done, guys.

  • WONDERFUL!!!!

  • He actuallylooks like Bea Arthur. It's amazing.

    Perfect timing, very comical.

    Amazing!

  • Hahaha good job, I love this song. What an amazing pair they made. But remember, Bea's Star didn't fade, it went Nova! She'll always be with us.

  • lansberry voice at 3:36-3:50 is stellar... Love how she pulls out that old timey broadway belt! the vibrato is killer... Both dames rock the song ! brava1 ladies!

bea looks fabulous... and very realistic!

    excellent acting ladies!

  • I actually thought it was Bea Arthur.

    I love her!

    She was amazing.

  • fantastic!!!! luv it where are you all from?

  • Dude, you do look quite a bit like Bea Arthur. RIP

  • Cute!!

  • How fun!! By the way, great nails "Angela"!

  • ok I know one guy is Harvey Fierstein...but who is the other gent...lipping away to MAME!

  • i love this song i was in mame

  • Fantastic guys!!! I've performed this myself at Gay Pride.

  • Fabulous job guys that was really marvellous! Now I want to see on of you as Mae West singing Great Balls Of Fire!

  • I loved this, you guys did a great job !!!! A+++

  • Absolutely hilarious! Tony awards to both of you!

  • Quite good, actually.

    Nice work, fellas.

I love the moments in between the scathing remarks where you're not sure that they won't throw down in a second.

  • 5 stars!

  • First I thought all of you were just joking. I realized as I read further down, you're not. I can't believe you guys can't see that those are two guys in drag! Their lip-syncing a performance of the real Bea and Angela from a TV Land awards show performing "Bosum Buddies" from the play "Mame". I'm not a broadway musical fan......but I know this.

  • lol i cant tell which one is which cause of the hats.

  • Okay. That was amazingly great.

Nice work on knowing exactly when to come in after the rests. wow.

    :]

  • thanks for the lovely compliment, it was great fun to do and watch it back ourselves

  • I give them mad props on the nearly flawless makeup and they definitely had their words down.

  • Indeed Angela Lansbury is an excellent singer: on Broadway she created the role of Mrs. Lovett in Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd!

  • She was also the Mayoress, Cora Hoover Hooper, in the original production of Sondheim's "Anyone Can Whistle".... 1964. She's been in Mame twice, Gypsy, King and I, and numerous other musical productions...

  • i didn't realize that angela could sing that well. but i guess i should have, she's a pro. this is...interesting. hard to believe that angela played eleanor shaw in the manchurian candidate, lol.

  • didnt she also do it with lucille ball?

  • yes she did in the film version, which is out on DVD now

  • You got those withering silences down pat--that's what counts.

  • You guys look more like Waylon Flowers and Madam than Mame and Vera, but good show in any case.

  • OMG...that is so funny!

  • I am trying too convince a buddy of mine too sing this with me, out of drag, but none the less! It is would be so fun.

  • go for it, it's lots of fun to do!!!

  • hahaha whoever's dressed as bea arthur really looks like her . . . on second thought, i guess it's not that hard for a guy to look like bea . . . still, this is cute!!

  • thanks material girl, we do had fun doing it!!!!!

  • You guys are precious. That's so cool! Loved it!!

  • thanks for the compliment!!!

  • Very fun. Thank you.

  • How did you get the song? btw it's funny!

  • The song is from the Broadway Cast recording of "Mame" written by Jerry Herman from 1966. It stars Angela Lansbury and Bea Arthur. Great Cast recording !

  • This is hilraious. 10 stars.

PS: Glad I'm not the only one who acts out musical theatre numbers with my "bosom buddies". Heh.

  • to pummiripummi, that is angela lansburys version. I'd recognise her voice anywhere hehe. awesome video! really awesome x

  • very good mime this is good drag
