I agree with everyone about Avi and Kevin's impressive skills, but I have to say that Scott, Mitch, and Kirstie are all incredible, too. It's just that good basses and vocal percussionists are so much rarer that they really stand out.

I've been playing this and 'Video Killed the Radio Star' all week long. Their performances are simply awesome!! I like the fact that it's only 5 of them so you can notice immediately just what each one is bringing and they have plenty of room on stage also for their slick choreography. Waiting for tonight's show from them is like waiting on christmas!! GO PENATATONIX!!

I love how the soprano and tenor lines switch during the middle of the song, and then return to proper placement for the end to create this AMAZING build up for the end of the song. Avi's bass work is incredible... they're all just AHH! SO GOOD.

This COMPLETELY defies what a cappella has been doing for the past 10 years and takes it to a new level. Thank you to NBC for finally giving this music the spotlight it deserves.

afro blue brings the SAME tone to every one of their songs. while it's great for what it is, it's boring. pentatonix is beyond every other group because they keep innovating. there ARE better singers in this competition but nothing as fun to watch.

I feel like Kirstin doesn't get enough credit... she's missed alot of times with judges' comments but I feel like her harmonies and presence of a girl voice completes the group. Avi too, his bass solo was SICK @1:52 amazing, but missed by judges comment's. But hands down best group along with Afro Blue. Propss.

@dabballa95 I think you're getting too defensive. Pentatonix is the one to beat this season...but just like Committed last season I don't think anyone can beat them. They are the only group that makes all of the other groups lose their effin mind when they perform (Thats Afro Blue losing it at 2:00). I will add Sara gives a shout out to avi and Kristin at 3:45. As for Afro Blue....they have a strong hold of second and the only other group I think that could challenge them is Delilah.

@GritsnBeans I agree the only thing with Pentatonix is its all really really risky. A group like Afro Blue are musical geniuses (literally) but Pentatonx are mad scientists. If Pentatonix keeps hitting over and over with 5 folks and that insane sound I dont see them losing but with pushing that sound further and further each week they could disappoint big time by holding back or just plain a miss. That being said....did any1 else just hear that? I for 1 hope they never go for a safe route.

The judges always have to give props to every individual member because they are THAT good, and that's exactly how I feel. EVERYONE was on their game, and I really must applaud Avi for a bass sound that just... reverberated into my dang soul. This was amazing. Pentatonix for the WIN.
