actually, my american shorthair decappitated a bunny on the back porch, so yeah it might fight with it. they hate dogs too, and are very kept to themselves as apposed to maine coons, which are the perfect kind of cat to get if you have other pets. in my experiance anyway.

I have a Russian Blue. The American shorthairs look just like the Friskers cat. Can anyone tell me if American shorthairs can get fat, because I want another fat cat lol

they can get fat.. like most breeds.. but make it sweet and plump.. not to big or else it will be in pain not move around.. and just be in general pain

Heh! That was great.

This way one of my cats got used to water and isn't afraid of it at all. She likes to "bathe" (mostly splash water all over herself - and the room) and she even swam in a lake near our summer house some years ago.
