Not bad. But the Tina version in 1984 was more brutal. She got slashed, thrown all over the room and crawled all over the place, suffering before she died. Kris was offed pretty quickly.

The original one was a lot more... concise. They didn't fuck around or beat around the bush. She was fine one minute, then the next minute she was six feet in the air trying to put her blood back inside herself. This one seems a little drawn out.

wow... that was... really really lame... the original scene was SO MUCH BETTER!!!!

1. you could actually see what was going on

2. its much more longer and drawn out. like Freddy was savoring EVERY. SINGLE. BIT OF IT.

3. the practical effects were much more gruesome. she gets dragged up the wall so haphazardly and it really LOOKS painful. here, its a bunch of jump cuts and CGI with ONE slash. LAME.

I remember this bit all to well. It's one of the reasons I couldn't sleep as well on the night I went to see this... I don't know why but the minute Kris washes her face and looks back in the mirror I thought Freddy was gonna show up right then and there.
