The Officer has an obligation to safeguard the well-being of anyone in his custody even if force is required to stop him from bringing further harm to themselves. This is not police "brutality" I've been manhandled worse by police in my teens even for not resisting arrest or thrashing out, for just being caught riding stolen a motorbike (which I did not steal) they took me down brutally even though I wasn't resisting and got off of the bike. I've been in juvenile correctional facilities several times (west valley, and central multiple times), and I have never been hurt by staff, because I never resisted, I saw plenty of dumbasses who wanted to resist, and they got dropped. It's really not a difficult concept.

In canada that is not considered abuse he isn't complying so cop has the right to take him down to get him under control.
What would make it abuse here in canada if they can prove he intended to slam the douchebags head on the wall

How is this brutality? The silverback struggled away and tripped into the wall while the officer was trying to control him it was the monkey's fault all the way. Chimpy has about 50 arrests to it's credit by the way, and that's just for the crimes it got caught for. It beez a very bad animal.
