But I was surprised to find myself a little uneasy watching "STEAMBOAT WILLIE" after a long time.

The way MICKEY ruthlessly "tortures" and "exploits" the animals and living things around him on his "journey" seems at odds with modern sensibilities and also, the soon to follow, romance and sentimentality of the Classic animations....

@Disneyclassics009 Pixar, Claymation, and Tim Burton can stay. They did nothing wrong with Disney, and Pixar still makes amazing movies. The thing with Pixar is that it's not the medium that makes their movies so special, it's the story that makes them so good. Story is key, even though technology comes second. But, I do agree with you on the Disney Channel. The shows that are on there have got to go.

At the 1938 Oscars, Disney won an Oscar plus seven little Oscars for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. You also forgot to mention that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first animated feature film to be made by the effects of the worlds first MultiPlane Camera.

BTW Did you know the Walt Disney himself did the voice of Mickey Mouse until 1946? And that he was the very first voice-actor in history because of that?

Well actually I do know all of that, but I originally wrote this biography for school so I couldn't fit all the info I wanted because my teacher told me not to write every single fact. But I probably could of gave some more infomation since this isn't for school.

Well, I'm very honored, although I've been a fan of Disney since before you were born (no offense intended).

I knew that Disney was a heavy cigar smoker & I did suspect that to be the reason of him quitting the voice of Mickey & the cause of his death in 1966.

Poor Disney. He didn't know that those cigars he had were slowly killing him. "God rest his soul".
