This was the first cruise ship I've ever sailed on, back in 2007. This is such a great ship for first time cruisers and regulars alike. I belive in April I'll be boarding again, so Im very excited to go back to such a great ship. The Spirits is just such an awesome ship.

Any vacation is what you make of it. I find that fun people will always find ways of enjoying themselves regardless of where they are.

As for what you can do to have fun, well I like to party with friends (assuming you have some); zip-lining is fun in Puerto Vallarta; but the rest of us would probably enjoy it much more if you went TOTALY ExTrEmE and simply jumped overboard... BTW How Do You Say "Pompous @hole overboard" in German?

Is there anything for a guy like me in the mid 20's that isn't lazy to do? Or do I just have to sit on my ass eating all day and get fat....I go on vacations often, but have never taken a cruise.

Seems like a lot of fat lazy white trash that just sit there and eat and drink all day. Plus I don't want to hear that shitty music.

Living here is why I vacation so much, so I can be around civilized people. So far I like Germany the best. I speak fluent German and the people are nice.

I was on the Mar 11th 2010 cruise it was fun! It was my first cruise. Went with family and friends There was a total of 13 of us. I was James Brown in the legends show. Didnt know what I was getting into but, had a great time.

I took the spirit to Alaska, and the top was so windy and cold that we always had the mini putt to ourselves. But we still swam outside. It seems so different in the warmth

We cruised right after that cruise !! Same ship same itinerary . Awesome cruise !! I even went in the Mr Hairy Chest competition !! Came in second , the guy named Harry beat me out lol !!! We leave on the carnival splendor in 5 days !! Can`t wait !! Thanks for the video , brought back great memories !!

That's what happened to us. I went with my co-workers from work on the Carnival Elation in San Diego. We were suppose to leave for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, but was a Hurricane Helena down there. The ship got turned around and we ended up going to Catalina Island(which was boring) and Ensenada. I was a bit disappointed.

I can't wait! My future wife and I will be on that same ship/cruise for our Honeymoon on October 18, 2009... I've been on the Carnival Pride and from what I understand, the Spirit is the same class ship. 110 days and counting!!!!!
