Very informative. Thanks for the information. I've had lasik vision correction over a year ago and I too have taken restasis with little results. My eyes are red after I wake up and I have to take Clear Eyes or Systane to remedy the symptom.. I guess I'll try the castor oil but the question is, can I get it at a supermarket or a health food store?

On a personal note, you are beautiful with brains to match keep us informed(Too bad you are married). LOL

Floridapie, thank you for these 3 eye videos! Like you, I have been researching on my own before jumping in to using Restasis. One thing I have just started is taking 1 teaspoon of fish oil w/ breakfast and 1 w/ dinner. After seeing your video, I plan to try the castor oil, the TranquilEyes mask, and the hot compress too! Where do you buy the hot compress, and how do you use it? Thanks!

Hi Florida, about 19 yrs ago I feel asleep with contacts on for 1 hour...woke up and could not get the contacts out. They were stuck to my eyes. I have not been able to wear contacts since then because my eyes get dry and irritated eventhough I tried all different brands since that happened to me. Do you think the castor oil trick would help me?

Hello Wendy, I think that the castor oil will help you out a lot. It wont work for everyone because some people are sensitive to it but, give it a try or try "gentalgel".

I did'nt think you actually place the castor oil in your eyes? I've been doing just on the eyelashes, by closing my eyes then wiping with a Cue tip over my eye lids

I will definatly be giving the castor oil a try, the only thing i wanted to mention is that i used to use ice water to get rid of the redness, but i was advised that this was further solidifying the oils in my eyelids, and that it was only making my dry eyes worse. Whether this is fact i dont know, but it seems to contradict the hot compressions theory. I really appreciate you making these videos and hope my feedback is of use to anyone suffering from dry eyes.

I always use a fan when im sleeping.does it makes my eyes looks dry and red.

each time i apply hair gel or cream my eyes start to get red and it hurts a lil.soo i close my eyes for a few second and after i opened my eyes looks like hell.
