Evo X MR shouldn't represent the latest Evos. Evo X MR is even heavier than the Evo X GSR 5 speed MT. It's too plain looking with its hood vents and side vents of the same color as the rest of the body of the car. MR's SST doesn't have the freedom from a manual clutch/transmission for hardcore, non-overly computerized "off the textbook" moves that the Evo X GSR with its 5 speed MT and Evo IX can offer.The test driver didn't even properly launch the Evo X MR with its SST on normal mode, probably.

I lied..he got an extra 70 horse with his custom intake 3 inch downpipe and exhaust..added 780 injectors and upped the stock turbo to 25 psi.

currently he is knocking on the 500hp door with a new turbo and cams...still running the factory ecu and 93 octane pump gas...hasnt went into the bottom end of the engine yet.

32-35k for the car plus another 5k in mods and you got a 500hp car thats reliable..this car is going to be a monster in a few more years

I have to agree you can't compare an Evo IX RS with a Evo X MR. I hate the new Evo X's because they are not worth the money. You can make a hell of alot more power with a IX, not to mention more parts out there. Plus the X is heavier. I used to own a Evo 8, and now I have a IX MR. I will always be an Evo fan, but not the Evo X they made it into a soft car. But that was the intent for the new Evo X. You can't make a Rally car a auto either, very disappointing.
