I had this before. The battery simply not strong enough to power 3 fans at once. When you try to move forward or backward, the lift loses power and it just sits into the water. On the floor it just sits and stops. If you modify it to power the lift fan with a two stroke engine, then it may really hover. But when out of the box unmodified, it just does not work. Waste of money. I gave mine away.

I cant see what sort it is, but about 15 years ago i had a Typhoon Hovercraft, and it worked quite fine with all 3 motors going, it never had lift issues, and it was fast enough on land and water.

No, but it is supposed to glide over the surface of the water on the positive pressure inside the skirt with air escaping out the sides making it just 'hover'.

The rubber skirting stuff on the bottom of these things just sinks into the water and can be seen submerged and blowing bubbles. The motor for the skirts pressure is too weak.

What this thing is doing is not hovering, its a leaky inflatable boat providing buoyancy with a pump attached to stop it deflating completely.
