Tha rancher ain't tha best the polaris 500 sportsman is alot stronger and faster cause the rancher tops out at abt 50 and the Polaris 500 74 is my fastest but I didn't have much road for it

I have a polaris 500 sportsman x2 and we use it all year round winter for plowing laneway and it is perfect for that but throught really rought stuff the shockes are not the greatest that is the only thing really wrong about my fourwheeler

Polaris=piece of shit i had sportsman 500 and had it like a year.then it started to have weird noise while driving.i take it to retailer and he said that boys will fix it.after couple weeks they called that its engine is so broken that there is no sence to repair it.wtf really? they said that that they get like 200 sportsmans back in year because of same reason.my friends polaris 400 had same problem.after that i havent bought any vehicles which is made in america.they make just rubbish.

yeah i do honda has limited slip. polaris has all four wheels locked. arctic cat has manual locking diffs. honda and yamaha have neither just front limited slip shit. i must know what im talking about. afterall im the highest rated comment and your the only one that has questioned

@992bm ummm, are you sure you know what you're talking about??? yamaha has had manual diff locks on their machines for years! honda is the only major manufacturer without front lock...except for can am and polaris, which engage all four automatically. you are dead wrong.

I have a 2004 Polaris 600 with 3000 miles on it and only had a carb problem once at 2400 miles. Cost $90 to fix at the dealer. I have had nothing but good luck with my Polaris ATV's. I also feel that they have the best riding suspension and awd system.

All the major brands make great products these days.

Can Am make great quads and I like that they are Canadian made and built. However I don't like their three wheel drive AWD systems, tiny racks and no built in storage.

@CTParker13 Well - I love mine....2011 Sportsman 400HO full size 4x4 hauls and tows great with better ground clearance and independant suspension. Of course I wouldn't be so dumb as to try to ride it through a 2ft deep mud pool!!!!
