My bangs already touch my nose and blow into my eyes all the time, so this is really helpful, since I cannot go to the salon whenever I want. Just clipped them, and while they are skimming my eyelashes, they do not bother me in the least. The edges are very soft too.

what a cheap tip for a professional person.she is going to poke that shears into her eyes. i recommend you to cut it wet just give little length for shrinkage that's all.

@mehmetmike You don't want to wet hair to cut, it'll damage the ends. You don't need shrinkage if you know what you want. And you must have horrible hand-eye coordination if you're going to poke your own eye out.

@oliviaolas Use just a couple tiny drops of extra virgin olive oil while your hair is almost dry. It won't grease your hair if you only use a hint of it because your hair will soak it up. It's the best natural conditioner you can use, better than coconut oil. Long Hair Community suggested it and I've loved it for years. You'll never have fly aways if you do it right. You don't need it every day, either.

@dimoneddancing wow how short did you cut it? like literally in the middle of your forehead? well its gonna take a long time, i cut mine near my eyebrows 3 years ago and since then its grown to the bottom of my chin, my hair grows slowly and everyones hair is different so it depends on that as well

@saraackles Cutting hair while wet is a common misconception. Lots of salons do it, but that doesn't mean they're doing it right. Just because they have a piece of paper doesn't mean that all of them were taught correctly. Cutting any hair while dry keeps you from getting damaged ends easily. Trimming often also keeps damage from traveling up the hair. My mom's cut my dad's hair ever since they were married. 2 Weeks ago, he went to the salon. She didn't listen when he said inches, not tip grade

Try pulling or twisting it a little bit. I did that once a few days after I had my bangs trimmed (don't ask why lol), and people noticed that it had grown!

I just tried this for myself...and it worked out great! I used to take big meat scissors and cut my hair across...and I would not go to school for 2 days because it looked so terrible!

I did not have professional scissors...but I did have cuticle scissors...those worked great too.
