Terrible idea, those mirrors are designed to pop off if they meet resistance and now they are attached to a piece of tacky plastic which is altering the airflow around the bike and could impact handling at high speed. That windshield is way too big and will make the front end ligt in high wind and at speed.
I owned a 2002 St1300 until last December, replaced it with a 2010 ST1300, you can't improve on what Honda sends out of the factory.
looks awful ( sorry ...looks like an enormous after thought yuk yuk yuk....so many people complain obout the st1300...ie wind noise ..heat problems high speed wobble ...headlight brightness and other stuff ......if you complain about it that much ...WHY ride the bloody thing ....Ive had my st1300 for four years and apart from a dead battery i cant fault it ...its a lovley piece of kit
Hi there, I could not agree with you any more. I have had my ST for almost 5 years now.I learned to ride with my boots to keep the heat offf my feet. I had never wished for anything else on the ST, Honda spend millions on R&D on the bike. What is up with these people trying to change the design, or correct non existing flaws on the ST, ride it like you bought it or buy a BMW or Yamaha.Long live the ST, but, the new 1800 Goldwing is coming to SA soon. Mmm, can i keep get both
