  • This show would've been huge had he lived. I was 10 when he died and it bothered the hell out of me. I got real upset during the episode when he died.

  • RIP Redd Foxx man my fav comedian!

  • this bedroom scene look like the set of sister sister (tia and tamera mowry)

  • Haha. the little girl is Naya Rivera from Glee. She was a precious little kid. lol.

  • eddie murphy is a great dude for hrlping redd foxx out man real talk, he was truly royalty a comedic genius and he gets none of the credit he deserves

  • FUK THIS SO IS HARD. I DIDNT NO HE DID THS OR NO OF THIS... REMMBER SANFORD AND SON,,, DOPE SHOW :). THANKS FOR POST MAKES ME WISH I COULD HAVE SEEN THIS SHOW TO ITS FULLEST

  • @tennisdudeintx Actually he would have been 88, 89 in Dec 2011. He was 68 when he died. Whitman Mayo was even younger but they both played a bit older than what they actually were, Especially on Sanford.

  • It was a great entertainment loss when Redd died, I remember when this show started, and I was looking forward to the season. The first three seasons of Sanford and Son were some of the funniest TV programming ever.

  • "Grandpa you've got hair growing on top of your nose!" Cute Baby Naya is cute :D <3

  • COULDVE BEEN A POPULAR SHOW

  • I forgot about this show, but i heard that Redd Foxx last words on this show was' Elizabeth I'm coming to join you honey', everyone laughed & thought he was playing. But those were Redd's last words. This is true.

  • Oh my gosh, Naya! <3

She turned from cute to beautiful. I wonder what she does when she watches these back... She's progressed massively.

  • baby Naya Rivera was the cutest little thing ever ! :) <3

  • fat,black and ugly lls

  • He didnt say BIG DUMMY NOT ONCE! Im outta here..

    Luv you Red..

  • For those that didnt know the little girl that Redd picks up is played by young Naya Rivera who now stars on Glee as Santana Lopez

  • thanks 4 the upload, i heard Naya Rivera first starred on this show and then went on to appear on shows such as Family Matters,Baywatch,Smart Guy,Even Stevens and another little show maybe you've heard of it....GLEE! I LOVE Naya and I love GLEE!

  • @Mad4MileyCyrus she is soooo cute

  • From the days of busing tables in Harlem, until the 90s, Redd was one of the funniest people to live, delivery, timing, jokes, all were so great.

  • Some years ago, Redd's death was explained. He was being interviewed backstage by Entertainment Tonight / Mary Hart or other big show doing a biography segment, when underlings told him to get on stage to block scenes for camera angles for an scene of this show. This interruption happened twice while he was with ETs people. He was incredibly irate the second time- why couldn't an assistant or intern block the shots? He took it very badly, you could see the footage .. he was furious.

  • @swatty76 I think i was a show like lifestyles of the rich and famous. I could be wrong but it was a show that interviewed high profile celebs

  • wowwwwwwwww i remember this show ............ redd foxx r.i.p

  • Naya Rivera<3

  • This is funny stuff. I forgot just how great this show really was. Redd was rollin' on this show and it was good to see him doing so well. That's why it was such a tragedy that he passed when he did. He and Della Reese had great chemistry here. We miss you, Mr. Foxx!!!

  • Naya Rivera was the definition of adorable XD

  • Funny that the little girl is "Santana" on "GLEE" now...

  • It was a very cute show. I can vividly remember watching and enjoying it.

  • oh excuse me. could you please get your little passe out of my chair? lmao

  • the best ever we love you!!!!!!

  • Lolx 3:54

  • Thank you my friend.

  • Yes, Redd was the best comedian of all time.

  • Does anyone know videos or audios of Redd's Laff records?

  • Love these two together!! so sad Redd Foxx died on the set of the show.. but it was a cool show for that time.

  • I was just wondering if you have all the royal family episodes of sanford? There will never be another Red Fox.I would love to see all seven episodes.I also wonder what Reds real spirital life was all about? If he is in heaven its no wonder Jesus hasnt come back,he cannot stop laughing,ha,ha.

  • I know Della Reese is a very devote christian woman and i often wonder what Red Foxx was truly like in his spirital life? Im sure he and Della had many talks about that. That is one man that could make anyone or anything laugh. He has brought me joy when i have been done making me laugh when i wanted to cry. That was a gift from God im sure of,but it doesnt get us to heaven and i pray he is there.RIP FREDDY

  • I was so hurt when this show went off the air. I really miss this. Thank you!

  • This show was getting better and better each week. I remember watching it the fall of 1991. Of course, Redd's death stopped the flow of the show.

  • I really liked this show. Redd and Della were a good team. I am glad that Eddie Murphy realized the gem he had in them from Harlem Nights.

  • @aaronemara Della was on an ep. of Sanford and Son and check her out in Harlem Nights with Redd and Murphy. Classic Stuff. RIP Redd Foxx

  • Wow, this brings back great childhood memories. I can't stop smiling :-)

  • aha that little girl is Naya Rivera :P

    she's so cute.

  • Damn, I miss Redd Foxx!

  • The little girl plays santana on Glee, she's 23 now, she was about 4 back then!

  • @ivt200918 Thank you for this. I wondered what had happened to her. She was such a cute little girl.

  • ho got some sick lines

  • That room they are in looks like the bedroom from "Blossom." I wonder if that was the same set. 0:44

  • Redd Foxx's final TV project. :-(

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I loved this show and remember when Redd passed away how sad it was. I wish they would release this on dvd.

  • man i wish redd foxx (r.i.p.) wouldn't have passed so soon! this would;ve lasted longer. u don't see too many shows centered around people of color on major networks like u did in the 70s (jefferson, good times) 80s (cosby) and 90s (in living color, fresh prince, martin)

  • It's funny...the layout of their house is almost identical to the house on Married with Children. I wonder if they reused the same set.

  • Redd Foxx was Hilarious for his one liners. The little girl is Naya Rivera from Glee. The Boy Is Larenz Tate from the movies Love Jones and Dead Presidents.

  • .My fave part on this episode..."You told me you were gonna get rid of them cigarettes Al." ........."That's why I'm settin fire to em."........LMAO "You trying to burn my dog!!" LOL

  • I love Redd Foxx....this is when I first fell in love with Larenz Tate also

  • redds my favourite :D

  • damn i missed redd foxx.... I know i wasn't even born when he did sanford and son and sanford but after watchin all the episodes and watching this i missed him

  • @jamare456 sameee

  • What could have been, reminds me of Chico and the Man when Prinze shot himself and the show went down hill. I feel for della reese because she was on both shows with Prinze and Foxx and both died. Atleast Chico and the Man went 2 seasons and 18 or 19 espisodes in the 3rd season with Prinze while Foxx lived 4 only 7 espisodes!! What could have been, the show was finding its place with the audience as well as with the cast members, they look like they was having fun!! Rest in peace Foxx!!

  • What a great comment. I never noticed that but it is so true. Thanks for that statement.

  • @BlackAmericaCinema Redd Foxx was a genius! He and Della Reese together were a perfect team. When Al goes walking up the stairs mumbling to himself is just great. This would have been one of the best sitcoms ever had it only had the chance.

  • @student2dagame WELL SAID......TESS-TI-FY!!!

  • @student2dagame What makes me angry to this day was how Foxx was treated on the set after he had already cleared time with the producers to do an interview for another TV show, only to see them interrupt the interview and tell him to do a "crossover" on the set. Redd was pissed, and rightfully so, and there are those who claim that this triggered the fatal heart attack that took his life later that day.

  • @student2dagame On top of that, when Foxx was pronounced dead hours later and everyone was informed at the hospital, according to Della Reese the producers huddled and said, "We've got to do something about this script. This was for Redd and Della..." Right in front of Redd's widow. How disrespectful and cold! Even years later Della couldn't talk about it without getting angry.

  • @student2dagame Wow. That really was ashame. I guess this time it really was "The Big One." :-(

  • Actually, Prinze took his own life in the middle of season three, and Chico and the Man lasted four in total.

  • somebody please post some more of this great show R.I.P REDD FOXX

  • 3:13 haha Hilarious!!!! Lips -O - Fire!

  • LOL LOVE REDD FOXX

  • This show was great and probably would have been on longer if Mr. Foxx wouldn't have passed. I used to love when he would tell Larenz Tate he would put his foot in his back pocket.

  • where is the rest of it

  • I never heard of this show until doing research. This was something good, wish Redd didnt pass so soon.

  • Redd Foxx = The Greatest!!!
