Sorry to say that this new version, although good, is very far from the original. The chemical between Phil Collins and Tony Banks is magical and cannot be matched. Have you listen to the version of Genesis Live 1973? It's pure geniality.
Huge (early) Genesis fan that I have and will always be I am inclined to agree with you cosmicjazzer... but the, I love the Flower Kings and for all his efforts Tony Banks never had the fluidity of playing of Thomas Bodin... I expect hate mail for that statment, but from a musicians perspective this is undeniable. Added to which this version is just so uplifting!
This is an absolute masterpiece I didn't know of!!!!

@ProgTuga Cinema Show wasn't on Genesis Live. However, it was on Seconds Out with Bill Bruford. It may also be on the Archives Boxset
