Are you in favor of Distributism? ... this is based on subsidiarity, and states that concentrated economic power whether in big corporations or big govt is not good.... Do you think that big corporations must be limited as govt should be limited too?
There is no such thing as a "conservative" Catholic. One is either doctrinal or non doctrinal. The media uses the terms liberal and conservative as if there is room for not only discussion, but taking positions against that of the Church.
Great point about having the congress strip the courts decision on Roe v Wade. Congress can do this with any law passed or enforced by the Supreme Court. Politicians are gutless and the liberal media never challenges them on the non use of this constitutional power.
I believe what you are defending is moral and I hope and pray that the changes you talk about happen, but I think praising what I also beleive to Catholic morals and then bashing another person (Hilery Clinton) just to make a joke is just as hypocritical as other things. I thank you and I pray for you, but remember we are Catholics ALL THE TIME, not just when we are serious about something. Respect all people, because we are all created in God's image. Every single human being is.
Hey, I am not catholic (used to be though), but I approve 100 per cent what you just said and thanks for teaching me the principle of subsidiarity. I have always called it the principle of decentralization of power... it works with Everything from Politics to Energy to Food distribution (and even religion). Everything should be handled locally whenever possible. It cost less, is more efficient, it involves less government intervention and personal liberty is preserved.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Tom Woods. I have been praying for a Catholic to state the truth about Rick Santorum and to support Ron Paul. This election is so important to the future of our nation. Ron Paul is a peacemaker and adheres to the Catholic belief in subsidiarity. I am praying daily for Ron Paul's safety and his election to the Presidency. May God richly bless you for a fair and truthful presentation.
I'm not a catholic, but god bless you for this. So many truths. Being that you are Catholic, can I ask for your opinion on something? What in the world is wrong with the South Carolinians that boo'd the 'Golden Rule'? My jaw literally dropped to hear boo's when Paul suggested maybe we should follow it.

And Pilot said to the people I will free one of these two men "Barabas or Jesus". The people said Free Barabas.
Religious people or not, it seems like we always have to learn the hard way.
I hope not this time.
