Historically, Temperature reduction leads reduction in C02 by 800 years.  Thus, C02 does NOT cause global warming. Every Ice Core survey in the world has revealed exactly this same thing.

Volcanoes make many times more C02 each year than all the man-made sources combined; more still is produced by animals & bacteria. An even larger source still is dying vegetation! But the biggest sources by far are the oceans!

Volcanoes do not make more CO2 than man. USGS cites 350 megatons or less by volcanoes and anthropogenic CO2 in Gigatons.

Oceans are still cool enough to be a net sink for CO2. It is feared the rate the oceans can absorb CO2 will slow as it warms due to Climate Change.

Keeling proved that fossil fuel CO2 isotopes were diluting atmospheric CO2 containing C14. The radiative forcing of the atmosphere has increased by the amount of GHGs introduced by burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. The troposphere is warming up, the stratosphere is not. It's actually cooling. No other forcing known can account for the rise in global temperatures. All the other usual suspects have been questioned and released. It's not supposed that difficult to understand.

What evidence is there that directly proves the relationship between climate and CO2 composition in the atmosphere?

Don't tell me about glaciers, don't tell me about ocean levels, don't tell me the world will end if we do nothing.

Tell me, the direct evidence that proves beyond any doubt that CO2 in the atmosphere causes temperature change.

Also, bear in mind, that CO2 is a trace element in the atmosphere (ie, content is so low as to be almost non existent)

The evidence is ISOTOPIC. C14 is created in the atmosphere out of nitrogen. The ratio of C14 has measurably changed. Atmospheric oxygen has diminished by the amount of fossil fuels burned. Charles Keeling did his work on CO2, Ralph Keeling is currently working on O. Scripps Institution of Oceanography has all the evidence you can ever imagine.

Svante Arrhenius proved the radiative forcing of CO2, published work in 1896. It is still valid today.

Go back to school. What's odd is that CH4 is measured in parts per billion and is attributed to 20 percent of the GHG forcing.

Stay up with current events. CO2 is now at 387ppm. Your data is woefully out of date.

CFC's are 10's of thousands times more powerful per molecule than CO2 in GHG forcing.

H20 is a trace gas. It has a unique property in normal atmospheric conditions that CO2 and CH4 does not have. It can precipitate out as rain or snow.
