I bought this album in Manchester as a young teenager in the late seventies. One of my favourites but lost it in one of my many moves since then.

When I was a young man in high school, Take No Prisoners changed my life, man.

Great versions of Berlin and Coney Island Baby on there too. Lou at his drunken best. Now that he takes himself to seriously, this album must drive him crazy. Shows how cool he once was. Thanks for posting this.

I think this is the real Lou Reed live all of time. Nothing like this album shows his real nature even as a show man. During those shows at th Bottom Line back in 78 Bruce Springsteen was there. You can hear it by listening "wild side" as he says hi Bruce!! Anyway "I do Lou Reed better than anybody" might be his epitaph

His set list includes a previously unreleased song called "Get Up And Dance Dance Dance". A rocking little ditty in the same vien as "Hot Hips" and "I Love You Suzane". 77-80, what a great period...Nasty Punk rocking Lou!
