If anyone who stumbles upon this video, has exact tabs (or at least tuning) for this exact version of song, please, please, let me know :))) I too want to be happy playing this piece
@mIXsaz To be honest, it sounds/looks like he's doing it note-for-note like Bruce, except he's doing that funky thumb rest stroke thing that he always does, in the verse.
@jazzpsalti Recently i watched few videos of Bruce... Y, it seems he has at least the same tuning. But few chords are definitelly the same. Well, anyhow, if the tuning is same, it shouldnt be too hard to figure tabs out. Gonna try :D
Having just seen Bruce Cockburn in concert in Boston I decided to learn this song. So I went to Youtube to research and I stumble upon the Master playing the song in his youthfull days. I dont believe these people walking by had any idea who they were listening to. A wonderful version and clip.
i heard the cockburn version the other day. it's great, but it's much more produced. michael's is the first version i came to know, and i love the simplicity, and of course, the beautiful guitar playing.
@rlutge sorry for the late response, the second video I show people is almost always the Kent performance of Aerial Boundaries on Type3's channel. It's just about my favorite performance of his, from a technical standpoint
@rlutge haha, I usually don't have to show them a second tune, they're usually flying all over your channel LOL. But this Bruce classic reinterpreted by Michael is a great place to start, because I expect every direction you go from here in the world of Michael there will be surprises :)
@rlutge Oh, if only Michael and Bruce could have made music together! Michael has such a unique style and Bruce has such a way with words...if only...
666 views...I don't get it. Not that that number isn't interesting itself, but this should be in top 100. Even something as dumb as Lady Gaga has more views (Well, she has usually more than Beatles for that matter.). These are strange times.
looks like drop D tuning, but that harmonic chord at the end says not.
lovely

I've always like this particular song. Had the album Dancin' in the Dragon's Jaws as a lad.
