They intentionally sliced the octopus in large sizes. Some Takoyaki stands really do that, but it's more expensive. >_<

This was absolutely painful to watch. This poor man looked clearly over-worked, exhausted to the point of persperation, trying to please and serve everyone, and at the same time, being given instructions by whoever filmed it.

What a disgrace.  As far as the pieces being too big, yes they were. But this poor guy probably wasn't allowed even the few minutes to slice them. And yet he showed his great skill, in spite of all the above. May he find a resaturant who appreciates him.
