I have only two suggestions---1) deliver what your title promises and 2) ditch the brain-deadening music----some (maybe most) of us like the sounds of the motors.......
And, you are wrong again. (you are consistent at least in that) Only the first Daytona coupe was completed in the US, the other five were bodied in Italy. Of course, he are Shelby American cars too. Hey, you just learned how many Daytona Coupes were built without using Google or Wikipedia!
You got that info from Wikipedia, which is nearly as much of a joke as your argument. Seriously, why do people who have no idea what they are talking about talk about it anyway? This information isn't a secret, there is no mystery, all you have to do is look hard enough to get past the thin veneer of people who are as unlearned as you and presto, real information. I never have understood those who obviously just don't seem to mind being ignorant.
And yet again you are incorrect (surprise). They aren't AC Cobra's, they are Shelby Cobra's, and that is exactly what the VIN says. The first three digits are CSX on every Cobra ever built (guess what CS stand for) No AC finished car was ever completed and sold as a Cobra prior to the 1990's and, even then, AC was sued in court and then admitted that every real Cobra ever built is a Shelby American product. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
Seriously, please stop discussing issues you obviously have no knowledge of. Somebody who genuinely wants to know the actual history here might pay attention to what you are saying which would obviously mislead them.
@1978BHO The AC Cobra, also known colloquially as the Shelby Cobra in North America, is an Anglo-American sports car that was produced during the 1960s.

ferrari are not build for dragrace, but for track and time attack. Drag race is only for stupid american because they can't drive. stock car and dragrace are for pussy and baby
@drdestin ferraris are for pussy and baby because it took italy 80 years to make a car faster than the shelby cobra, and shut the fuck up about drag racing may i remind you that the 60's and 70's of gran turismo were dominated by what two companies?? FORD AND SHELBY
The 427 Cobra wasn't based on an AC model. The 289 Cobra roadsters were based on a modified AC Ace, but when Shelby American decided to move to big block power a new platform was need, so Ford and Shelby American designed one. New chassis, new suspension, new body, new car. Some small parts carried over, and AC still built the body/chassis under contract, but Ford and Shelby designed the car. Later, AC used the chassis too, but they didn't design it.
Working for Ford now on an assembly line is going to have nothing to do with a knowledge of the Cobra. I worked in the auto industry myself and can say that most blue collar workers can't even tell you who designed the car built in the factory they work at now.
The 289 Cobra was actually AC Ace Zephyr based, not AC Ace Bristol based. Shelby American built a big block prototype based on the Ace chassis (CSX2196) and, after testing, decided it wouldn't work.
In fact, CSX2196 is famous for being a one of a kind, no other existing Ace based chassis has a big block engine in it because Shelby went a different route. A new chassis and suspension for a new 427 Cobra were designed out of necessity, Ken Miles at Shelby American leading the effort on the chassis and Bob Negstad at Ford, who like Miles is a legend among Cobra enthusiasts, designing the new coil spring suspension.
Guys I did not see any kind of vid, butz the Cobra is about 400KG lighter than the FiAT PUSSY,so the Cobra is the measure even for a Diablo SV or so. This car is just a freakin'maniac
@MrLucius1661 lol and for that price it bloody well should such a big price different but imo i would rather a mustang over a ferrari costs way to much they are just over priced imo
LOL the Ferrari can only do an 11.54 in the quarter mile- that is not fast my friends, You could build a 90's Mustang for less than 10K that would smoke that! below someone says the Cobra was heavily modified- didn't need to be it's a 3rd the weight of the Ferrari and more power stock!
@NSEntFilms that's bullshit i bet you put countless hours into that amazing video, also i love Ferrari's but some times the Ferrari owners are huge pussies.
For the record, for those who refer to these as AC Cobra's, the correct name is actually Shelby Cobra....or Shelby American Cobra if you want to get really particular.
@syr74 Actually they were originally called - and badged - Shelby AC Cobras, because AC made the Cobra in Britain for Shelby to sell in the US (though Cobras built for the US market were built as unpainted rolling shells for Shelby American to finish). At some point the 'Shelby AC Cobra' badges went and they became known as Shelby Cobras in the US and AC Cobras in Europe.
you can get brabus rims it just an aesthetic choice really, brabus hasn't done tuning to a ferrari 458 but if you have a wad of cash and ask nicely the brabus engineers can work their magic on your car :3
so you put a straight line car against a track car and think it a fair challenge, and i think the 458 still has a good chance of winning, unless the 427 is modified.

I am referring to the roadster only. The Daytona Coupe was made entirely in California, by Shelby America... Ford followed with the GT 40.
