Hey mate nice mixes... you should always try and bring in the new track with a little drop on the bass and as it builds or when it drops kill off the bass on the first track... will smooth out your mixes 10 fold. problem with kickbass and bass is if its onbeat and you missjudge the mix it will cause a out of phase doubling effect.

dance or electronic dance music encompasses ALL DANCE MUSIC which is anything in a 4/4 beat

and techno is the only one that is actually a genre
