LASERS ARE COOL! Unfortunately they suck balls in System Shock 2. Ammo becomes much much more common than recharge stations later on and it's not quite 120 shots, it takes around 12 or so energy per shot. Also you don't have the freedom of using armor piercing or anti-personnel, energy is energy and does less damage than a pistol. Sorry for rant, but good info. :P

A good thing I found to do was to hoard the shit out of the Chemical Storeroom on the medical floor, next to the elevator. Since you return into the elevator a few times, it's a good idea to just head down there and research stuff and drop some items you want later. The items does not despawn in there ;D
