No no, Fanime is a convention centered around animation and Japanese culture. At the Masquerade/cosplay spectacular, 50 skits performed in front of an audience of convention attendees.

It sometimes seems like a video game event because skits only have to be inspired by the Japanese culture to qualify. For example, Vocaloid is a program that was developed in Japan.
