from what I can tell the banjo solos in this tune all come from traditional bluegrass tunes... I hear Clinch mtn backstep and i also hear down the road at the end... can anyone tell me what song the break played at about the two minute mark comes from?
I watched Earl on black & white tv in the 50's and he is and always will be the best in my mind, but son you are one hell of a picker! That is one of the best sounding banjos I've ever heard!!! BanjoFlyBoy

@packingten check out collings and bourgeois and merrill. for a new guitar they put new martins to shame. old martins still take it most of the time.
