@fifo, yes a little late off the rev limiter there in third. I still had the stock rev limiter set in this video as it was a stock from tuned via a post AFC. it has now been raised to 7600 and I am pushing more than 28 PS I since that is the Max of my gauge. it spins both wheels in 3rd gear no problem now. you really need to hang on to the steering wheel as the torque steer is a real eye opener...
I originally had it twincharged and it only made 254 HP at the wheels and now I am way past that. There was all kinds of issues with running TC, so I moved away from that to just a Turbo.
Did you ever consider twin-charging this car? Twin charged minis put out monster power.. Just wondering but it seems you already have a monster mini..... Then you could have saved swapping intakes and all that stuff
@ryanooify That it is and until I find a way around it, it will be. That is the price you pay for doing the conversion. It doesn't affect the drivability, just your emissions test. I am not running the 1st MAP sensor, just the TMAP.
Just wait, I went to custom ECU tuning and changed out the injectors, the car spools much faster now since it was going into limp mode before, causing me to allow it to spool to 10 psi before going wot...now I can go wot from a standstill. Just need to do a few more tweeks before I hit the dyno for the final tune for this engine at 26 psi.
traction ? i think it starts @ 90mph :P
